Intent: To create a set of bows for Akuma, and [member="Xander Blackmoore"] in which they can use for assassinations, hunting, or for sport.

Rate of Fire: Process of Knocking the arrow, Drawing, aiming, and release.
Strengths:
- Silent weapon: About the only sounds you can hear is the rustling of the weapon, the bow "twang" sound, and the arrow hitting the object.
- Flexable: The bow has to be flexable to allow the arrow to fly it's distance. As such, it can withstand dropping, throwing and other such.
- Songsteel Plating: This metal allows protection of the bow from lightsabers, or and blasters that some how hit the very thin weapon. However, the bow is not protected completely and therefore has "chinks in the armor."
- Songsteel Plating II: with the metal grafted on with the bone, the meal is resistant to bending, With a thin layer of songsteel, it still has the ability to bend, and increase the draw power of the bow. Meaning, the snaping of the cord, as well as the flexing sends the arrow faster down longer distances, with more power.
- FrictionGrip: The grip allows supperior control over the bow. Should they be rocked, or be in damp, wet, or other enviroments that can cause the bow to slip from their hands, the FrictionGrip will help prevent that.
- Recurve Bow Style: With the Recurve bow style used, it can be used in smaller spaces than a long bow could. As well as in forests, on a mount, and allows for easier storing. But most notable, the design of the Recurve was used to add power and to reduce the draw weight at the same time.
- Flexable: While the bow is Flexable and rather durable, it is not impervious to kenetic strikes. Anything ranging from a strong punch, to even kenetic strikes from a lightsaber on the songsteel plating will snap the bow. And as much as it looks cool to use the bow like brass knuckles, that too can damage the bow.
- Professional use: To pick up and use this bow with complete accuracy, without scraping up your bow arm, or smacking yourself in the face with the bow, you need to be trained to use such a weapon. The draw back is nothing to laugh at. This bow is used to send an arrow flying throuh the air at speeds that can range from well over 100-300 Km/hour. No one is going to use this bow without proper training and upper body strength.
- Very Long Firing Process: As a blaster only needs to be used by pulling the trigger, A bow uses a completely different process. Knocking, or attaching the arrow to the string, bringing the bow up to the correct position to fire (as anyother way would injure yourself, or others around you.), Aimed, and released. Only to reach for another arrow from a quiver, to be fired again. This process takes a long time. So any distance within 10-15 meters depending upon running speed, can mean only one arrow could have been fired. Giving alot of time to the attacker to come up close with a Melee weapon, or spraying rounds upon rounds of blaster or slugs a them.
- Recurve bow style: With the awkward shaping of the bow, The Recurve style means that it can't be strung, or in other words, the string can't be taugnt or ready to fire, at all times. When not in use, it should be unstrung to allow the bow to relax and prevent cracking, or when using again, for the bow to break and literally send shards of bone and songsteel flying back at the user.
- Recurve Bow Style II: While the bow may be strung and unstrung, it muse be done correctly. If not, the bow will either shatter as soon as pressure is applied, or when used next, it will break in half. The weird shape and design may allow for power and less of a draw weight, but it needs to be done correctly.
- Songsteel Layering: As the songsteel is rather thinner than what would be acceptable for armor, it can shave or come off after taking a beating, or be hit with a lightsaber or blaster bolt a few times. meaning it will wear off and make a portion in which is no longer protect by the metal.
As created for the use of assassinations, hunting, or general use of both Xander, and Akuma, who are Master and apprentice respectfully, have both taking a liking and use to bows. Xander has taught Akuma to use primitive weapons such as a bow, and will further teach her in the force, and lightsaber use to get an edge on those who have never seen the primitive weapon, as well as never expieranced one.
The bow is made out of the tusks that were taken from a Bull Rancor in which Akuma Killed in a Pit fight upon Xander, and Akuma's meeting. From these tusks, they were stripped down and cut into almost paper-thin layers only to be plastered together by conventional means of adhesive, and bindings, as well as with the force to keep the adhesive from breaking apart. This causes the tusks now shaped in the form of a Recurve bow to be flexable and durable to a degree and to be used as expert craftsmen bows.
With thin songsteel plates that are overlapped on the front of the recurves as well as around the grip to provide some protection should a blaster shot come and hit the bow, or a lightsaber strike. However, it won't defend very well against the kenetic strike or any Kenetic weapon for that matter. Using it as a means of blocking or defense should only be a last resort.
The bow has a 45 kgs draw, meaning the force exerted on the arrow pushes it at 45kgs. However, because of the recurve style, the bow itself will mechanically transfer the energy and bending of the bow to increase the power exerted up to 55kgs of draw.
