SPECIAL FEATURES

Tool kit, In order to be prepared for most situations Rhyssa has many tools installed in her armour, such as a Fusion Cutter, a Computer Slicing Kit, and a basic components of a Technical Tool Kit this is all contained within the right gauntlet

HUD and Internal Computer, In order to keep her load down Rhyssa built a high end computer into the armour that can be operated via hand motions and a virtual key pad on the heads up display. While far from a super computer due the the lack of form factor requirements it is far more powerful than any sort of hand held device, to take advantage of this processing power the computer is hooked into a series of high end sensors to help Rhyssa get a better sense of what's happening around her. The computer also serves to encrypt her communications along as attempt to decrypt an enemy's, although this usually only works on low level encryption, high level encryption requires help from Rhyssa, or connection to a more powerful computer.

Magnetic Grips and Boots FrictionGripTM, In order to be able to climb around to stay out of the way and access hard to reach areas the armour has magnetic gloves and boots, as well as FrictionGrip on the same surfaces to allow the same kind of ability on non-magnetic surfaces or in areas where using magnets may not be an option. The armour also contains some ascension line in case Rhyssa needs to anchor to a point for an extended period or haul something heavy.

Stealth Field Generator and Stealth Composts, Using a Nykkalt coating on every component and a Stealth Field Generator the armour renders it's self, it's user, and their gear more or less completely invisible to detection, only the more esoteric and exotic methods of detection have a chance at determining if someone wearing the armour is present.

Arm Mounted Shield Projector, In order to supplement the less than stellar protective capabilities of the armour Rhyssa mounted a personal shield generator in the left arm allowing her to project a 2m x 1.2m energy shield in front of her, while it can take quite a beating it puts a massive drain on the armour's power supply and can not be used at the same time as the Stealth Field Generator. In order to help with protection the shield's projector in enhanced with a Lignan crystal in a similar method as one might use a Kyber crystal to increase the output of a weapon, allowing the shield to take a blast from vehicle grade weaponry without collapsing.

Strengths:
  • Stealth Field Generator and Nykkalt grant an extreme boon when attempting to avoid being seen or detected.
  • The armour has the best EMP/Ion hardening available in order to protect the delicate electronics inside.
  • The armour is hermetically sealed, has advanced atmosphere filters and a one hour reserve oxygen tank so that it can be used in a vacuum or hazardous environments.
  • The shield boosted to protectiveness from attacks coming at her from the front, but only when it's activated

Weaknesses:
  • Despite providing a reasonable amount of protection from your average hand held weapon anything heavier could cut through the plating like a warm vibroblade in butter.
  • The Shield Projector and Stealth Field Generator put an imminence drain on the armour's power supply and can not be used simultaneously.
  • Lightsabers, just no, the shield provides protection from them, but it can be manoeuvred around easily, and the armour plating is not made of any lightsaber resistant materials and offers no resistance.
  • Using the shield limits Rhyssa to using only one hand, limiting her options for fighting back or escaping

DESCRIPTION

Rhyssa very quickly learned that she wasn't going to be able to work from inside the comfort of her air conditioned apartment where no one is going to be shooting at her, she couldn't carry everything she need to slice, remain hidden, and have good protection all at once, so she opted for a set up that would let her have everything she needed and let her either hide or protect herself depending on the situation at hand. Using her merger savings and contacts to do her best and get a hold of the materials she needed to make the armour, she locked herself in her room for days on end, nothing out of the ordinary, but rather than poking into networks where she didn't belong she was working on the armour, taking no short cuts like she might when working on something for someone else, she wanted this armour to be perfect. Once she was done she then spent another week working on programming the electronic components and then testing them with as much power as she dared and then some, she wanted to ensure that nothing short of a ship based Ion cannon could disrupt the delicate electronics on board. Afterwards she started testing the armour's stealth capabilities, walking right through a police barricade without raising a single alarm, she then raised the alarm anyway to test how it held up in a fight, the result was satisfactory, finding out that the armour didn't stand up to sustained fire without using the shield, although with the shield Rhyssa could stand her ground for a while, until the unrest the barricade was trying to contain overtook it, when knockout gas was used it proved that the filters could keep her safe from environmental hazards.
