Born on Ryloth and orphaned young, Rheyla was rescued during a skirmish by a pair of Mandalorian warriors—Daro and Lenya Vhett—who found her hiding among the ruins of a raided Twi’lek settlement. Rather than leaving her behind, they brought her into their clan, Clan Vhett, a smaller, tight-knit Mandalorian family that operated mostly on the Outer Rim, far from the politics of Mandalore itself.

Clan Vhett lived by the old ways, honouring the Resol’nare but adapting to the chaotic swirl of power in the galaxy. They took contracts as mercenaries, bodyguards, bounty hunters—any job that paid and didn’t betray their principles. Rheyla was raised as one of them, given a blaster before she could read, learning discipline, tactical thinking, and the unshakable bond of clan. She earned her armour piece by piece, her beskad by trial, and was never treated differently despite being a Twi’lek.

But no amount of training could prepare her for betrayal.

Years into their roaming campaigns, Clan Vhett accepted a contract to extract a target from a disputed world in the Mid Rim. The job was clean on paper—too clean. It turned out to be a political trap orchestrated by an ambitious Imperial officer who saw Mandalorians as a destabilising threat to Imperial control. A fleet strike followed. The Vhett transport was ambushed mid-extraction, and the clan’s base camp was hit with a precision orbital bombardment.

Rheyla survived only because she had been grounded elsewhere, scouting a fallback site. She returned to find her home cratered, her clan burned into ash, and no one left to bury.

After that, she discarded what was left of her loyalty to causes or flags. Her armour remains incomplete—scarred and mismatched, the only pieces left from her fallen kin. Her ship is a salvaged freighter she stole from a slaver ring two months after the massacre, barely held together but unmistakably hers.

Now, she works alone. Credits are her only currency. She still honours the discipline of her upbringing, but not the politics. No more wars. No more creeds. Just the job.

She once humiliated a high-ranking Imperial officer during a botched arrest attempt—disabled his ship with an improvised EMP charge, stole his prize prisoner out from under him, and left him stranded on a prison moon with nothing but his uniform and a bruised ego. That officer has since placed an unofficial bounty on her head, turning every cantina and Outer Rim dock into a potential trap.

And Rheyla? She just smirks and loads her blaster.

Rheyla is witty, sarcastic, and unafraid to mock authority—especially the kind that tries to control her. Raised by Mandalorians but no longer bound to the creed, she’s developed a grounded pragmatism and a love of freedom above all. She has a charming, practical ruthlessness that gets the job done, paired with a gambler’s taste for risk and reward.

She’s sharp-eyed and quick to read a room, always aware of her surroundings, always calculating odds. She flirts with danger and cracks jokes under pressure, using humour like armour. Her confidence is real, but never loud—just controlled, focused, and sometimes a little too casual for her own good.

Beneath the attitude is discipline learned from clan life and scars earned from loss. She doesn’t trust easily, but when she does, her loyalty runs deep and fierce. She rarely speaks about her past, not from shame, but because it’s hers—and few earn the right to know it.

She keeps her emotions guarded, but she’s not cold. She shows care through action: fixing a ship, covering your six, quietly watching your back. Rheyla’s no hero—but she won’t leave you behind, and she never, ever forgets a betrayal.

Rheyla has soft blue skin with subtle cool undertones and intricate lekku patterning that winds along their length. A few small, healed blaster scars are visible across her lekku—faint but telling. She keeps them wrapped in a weathered cloth, both for protection and anonymity. Her honey-brown eyes reflect a sharp mix of charm and caution. Her features are soft, but rarely relaxed—always alert, always reading the room.

She wears a blend of worn Mandalorian armour and practical gear: a scratched green chestplate, reinforced wrist gauntlets, and thigh guards salvaged from the wreckage of her past. Beneath the armour, she favours a snug, durable brown outfit suited to movement and long hauls. A tattered cloak clings to her shoulders, often pulled up in sandstorms or when she doesn’t want to be recognised.

Her blaster rests on her thigh in a worn leather holster, while a seax-style vibroblade hangs at her hip—ready for close work. A long cycler rifle is stashed on her ship or slung when the job calls for it. Goggles usually hang around her neck, ready to snap down at the first sign of dust or danger.

  • Strengths and Weaknesses
+Tactical Combat Skills - Raised by Mandalorians, Rheyla is highly trained in firearms, close combat, and ambush tactics. She reacts fast, hits hard, and knows how to stay alive when outgunned.
+Situational Awareness - She reads people and rooms instinctively. Whether in a cantina or on a battlefield, she clocks exits, motives, and danger faster than most.
+Mechanical Aptitude - She may not be a tech specialist, but she knows her gear and ship inside out. If it breaks, she can probably fix it—especially if it’s patched together with stolen parts and bad wiring.
+Charm & Bluff - Rheyla knows how to talk her way out of situations—or into places she shouldn’t be. Her wit and sarcasm are just the surface of a dangerously persuasive mind.
+Loyalty (Once Earned) - She’s fiercely protective of those she trusts. Her loyalty isn’t given lightly, but once it’s yours, it’s unshakable—even if it costs her.

-Emotional Isolation - She keeps people at a distance, refusing to show vulnerability. It protects her—but it also keeps her from forming deeper bonds, even when she needs them.
-Authority Issues - Rheyla’s disdain for authority often overrides her better judgment. She’ll talk back when silence would be safer and sabotage orders just to prove a point.
-Trauma-Driven Recklessness - Her past fuels a dangerous streak. Sometimes she takes risks not for the reward, but to feel something—or to punish the ghosts of what she’s lost.
-Outlaw Reputation - With an unofficial Imperial bounty on her head and a trail of scorched bridges, she’s a magnet for unwanted attention. Some see her as a threat. Others see a payday.

  • - Unexpected Visitor, Completed - After a chaotic rooftop escape from Dro, Rheyla and Ace barely manage to survive a blaster-filled chase, a rooftop jump, and a close call with a thermal detonator. Tensions explode when Ace, furious and overwhelmed, pulls a lightsaber and shoves it under Rheyla’s chin, demanding she let him go. Unshaken, Rheyla responds with her usual sarcasm and wit, refusing to back down.
