Description:
Fashioned after the masks worn by the Sorcerers of Rhand, the Rhandite Mask is a piece of metal with intricate carvings inscribed upon its surface. The metal itself is able to reflect blaster bolts, but is thin enough that a slug of significant size would puncture it. It would be able to block a glancing lightsaber strike, but a full hit would send plasma sparks through the eye or mouth holes and create enough heat that the wearer's face would be severely burned.

The mask is inscribed with Sith hieroglyphs and Massassi script. These word, written with Sith Magic, imbue the mask with the spell of concealment, which hides the wearer's presence in the Force. Meaning that whosoever wears the mask cannot be sensed with the Force, much like the Vong. The spell is relatively simple and the mask must be upon the wearer's face, not simply in his or her possession, in order to work.

Classification: Mask
