- Integrated shield generator: The shield is equipped with a shield generator which had both ray and particle shields. The deflector was only for the shield and not forming a bubble around the bearer.
- Durable: The shield is designed to protect the wearer from heavy damage if wielded properly and can do so, both by its materials as well as by the shield generator.
- Unhandy: It is a large tower shield and not very handy, it is kinda heavy as well, therefore it requires some strength and training to be used properly.
Again a project issued by the High Imperator himself, the combat shields were inspired by the original combat shields of the Knights of Zakuul. They had to be durable and include a shield generator. Expensive, but also very efficient. The shield could form a wall between the bearer and any opponent.
The shield is now issued to all paladin generations, replacing the old ordinary combat shields. The training with it is intense, especially for those will wield the new equipment loadout, as their equipment is more heavy and versatile, but also greatly improved. The shield being a big, noteworthy part of it, though one which is usually considered voluntary, except for the future Evocati.
