The new capital of the republic wasn't exactly a world you could sneak onto, not when they were on high alert due to the war with the Sith. A war Mia wanted very much to be involved in. Her beskad itched to decapitate a few sith, but she'd trodden on enough toes in the Republic to earn herself a black mark and the title of 'Mand'alor's attack dog'. If she cared, she might have been upset by such a degrading name, but Mia never had cared what other people thought of her.
She'd spent hours working out her best chance of getting on the planet without detection. So it was that Mia Monroe, dressed in spacer gear and armed with a blaster and ascension gun, managed to slap a few hundred cred chips in the right hands and earned herself passage on a civilians transport as well as a no questions asked policy once she touched ground. The sun had dropped behind the horizon by the time she got out of the spaceport, forcing the citadel into false luminescence that elongated shadows along the walkways.
The Liberator tugged a data pad form an inside pocket as she walked and checked the notes she'd made. Having a boyfriend on the Republic's finance committee had its benefits, for example when large deposits of money are made to ship manufacturers in various locations, its safe to assume that someone is increasing their fleet size. she could have taken the matter to the Mand'alor himself, but she wanted to be sure she was barking up the right tree before pushing for their own naval developments.
A few taps on the datapad to clarify her location and she stopped her march to look around her properly. "Wayii." she muttered. Security was tight on the front doors, and she was betting all her credits that the back ones were heavily guarded too. Politicians liked a secure escape route, just in case things got hairy. She circled the building at a distance, pausing in shadows at various points to observe and find a weak point.
After an hour of recon she was about ready to try another location when movement overhead caught her attention, eyes snapped up to catch a glimpse of a curtain tugged outside by the wind. Someone had left a window open four stories up on the west face of the building. A grin formed on her face and she looked to the road that passed in front of the south of the building, heavy with speeder traffic as people fought to get home. Closing her eyes, Mia focused herself and reached out in the force to the traffic. Opening her eyes she watched it flow for a moment, waiting for the fool who would put his foot down a little to hard. As they came Mia shoved the speeder with the force, sending him careening into two other transports with a loud bang, blocking two lanes.
The noise had caught their attention, but the guards held firm, that was until fists flew and a blaster was brandished. As the rushed to settle the fight, Mia darted forward, standing beneath the window and firing the ascension gun above. A tug told her it was secure before it began hauling her up.
