DESCRIPTION
Reu-Lai Corporation is a luxury goods trading company, with their own personal shipping service and their own in-sourced mining operations. The current Chief Executive Officer, is Darael Reu-Lai, a retired CorSec agent who, after retiring under suspicious circumstances, went into the business industry with a mind for the mining, shipment, and sale of luxury goods. The aforementioned luxury goods predominantly consist of jewelry. The Reu-Lai Corporation possess a relatively-centralized business structure, albeit with each location following a predesignated list of guidelines and procedures for the mining, shipment, and sale of luxury goods. In terms of talking in open strategy with the general public, Reu-Lai Corporation is fairly secretive with their plans and directions.
The freighter-pilots from Reu-Lai Corporation's shipping department are exceptionally skilled pilots as the vast majority are either ex-military pilots or reformed smugglers. Reu-Lai Corporation possesses on-site security personnel, and are equipped for subduing trespassers and alerting planetary authorities - but not for any long-term engagement or against a foe with legitimate weaponry; think of any old security guard or mall cop.
RATIONALE
Darael Reu-Lai, after retiring from the Corellian Security Force, invested his earnings and retirement savings into Reu-Lai Industries with the obvious interest of making more credits. Darael, to a very select few individuals, obtained his business wherewithal not just through the means of legitimate higher education, but also through his adolescence of smuggling and adulthood of corrupt CorSec dealings and covert smuggling operations; this is where Darael made the majority of his money that would allow for him to open up his business. With this business wherewithal and necessary funds, Darael was able to establish a headquarters on the planet of Corellia, and two other locations on Alderaan, for the sale of jewels to envious nobility, and Commenor, for the mining of Chrysopaz Gemstones.
