Long ago, Arsenio had vehemently opposed the idea of becoming Baron Tagge. He believed the title would relegate him to a mere echo of his family's once-great influence, a lone survivor amidst the fading embers of their former glory. With his cousins Emmen and Brama out of the picture, House Tagge's grip on Tepasi, while still intact, appeared increasingly inconsequential in the face of the Galactic Alliance's relentless expansion. The state of TaggeCo, languishing under Brama's control and receiving only secondary consideration from Emmen after his election as Chancellor of the Alliance, added to Arsenio's disillusionment.

However, as Arsenio matured and delved deeper into politics and economics, his perspective shifted. He began to see the title of Baron Tagge not just as a burden but as an opportunity to reclaim his family's former glory. Recognizing the limitations of operating solely within House Tagge's traditional power base, he sought to expand TaggeCo's reach and influence by proposing a partnership with the Trade Federation.

In his office in Unlos Tagge, named after his esteemed ancestor, Arsenio prepared for negotiations with the Trade Federation's Director, Rulonom Laborr Rulonom Laborr . The bustling city outside stood in stark contrast to the tense anticipation within him. This meeting marked the first step towards TaggeCo's re-ascension into the Federation's ranks. Despite the risks involved, Arsenio was determined to restore his family's honor and secure its place among the galaxy's elite. As the Skakoan's arrival drew near, Arsenio steeled himself for the challenges ahead, confident in his vision and his ability to navigate the complexities of galactic politics and economics. Rising from his seat, he was ready to face whatever lay ahead and to begin the journey of reclaiming the glory and power of House Tagge.

The Skakoan glided through the hallways of the structure like a ghost, illuminated by the gentle sunlight filtering in. While his physical form remained present, his mind wandered far, delving into the depths of economic intricacies.

Contemplating the delicate equilibrium between resources and necessities, analyzing the effects of inflation on buying capabilities, and tracing the repercussions of interstellar trade deals. The intricate interplay of market dynamics, governmental regulations, and consumer behavior unfolded in his thoughts like a complex economic ballet.

The Trade Federation of Planets had achieved remarkable milestones, solidifying their position as a formidable political entity, despite facing a significant setback when Chancellor Auteme stripped them of their assembly vote in the Federal Assembly. Undeterred, they decided to extend their influence beyond the boundaries of the Galactic Alliance, infiltrating the Sith Empire and the Dark Empire with their covert agents. It wouldn't be long before they tightened their grip on the Mandalorian Protectors as well.

When TaggeCo called for a meeting - the Skakoan answered with no hesitation
, as the doors slowly opened to reveal the imposing titan of manufacturing.

"AWWWEEOEORORO...Baron Tagge," The armored pressure suit hissed and bulked, as the mechanisms pushed fresh methane gas through the tubes, as gloved hand messed with the noise modules. "It was unexpected for you to reach out to us, but I must confess that I am intrigued at the possibilities."The Director explained; taking a seat in a swift motion.

"Director," Arsenio acknowledged with a nod, his gaze steady despite the swirling thoughts within. "I appreciate your prompt response to our invitation. TaggeCo values the potential partnership with the Trade Federation and believes that together, we can achieve great things."

Leaning forward slightly, Arsenio continued, his voice measured yet filled with conviction. "As you know, TaggeCo has a long history of innovation and excellence in shipbuilding and technology development. However, we recognize the need to adapt and expand our horizons in order to thrive in an ever-changing galaxy. That's where the Trade Federation comes in. Your vast resources and extensive reach present a unique opportunity for collaboration that could benefit both parties."

Arsenio's cybernetic eye gleamed with determination as he spoke. "I propose that we explore ways to integrate TaggeCo's expertise with the Trade Federation's capabilities, forging a partnership that not only strengthens both our positions but also opens up new avenues for growth and success. Together, we can navigate the challenges ahead and emerge stronger than ever before."

Laborr responded with a nonchalant nod as the proverbial
chessboard materialized between them, armored gaze fixed on Baron Tagge as they presented quite the compelling proposition for their potential business collaboration. TaggeCo was undeniably a prominent authority in the realms of innovation and shipbuilding, as well as technological advancements, during the era of the Galactic Empire.

However, their opportunity to wield substantial influence was lost amidst the Chaos Timeline. Chancellor Emmen Tagge, in a surprising turn of events, chose to prioritize the welfare of the common people over indulging in corporate buyouts and prominent investments needed to insure galactic hegemony. The company was attempting to rise once more with the assistance of the Trade Federation of Planet's, which had the resources needed to sustain themselves through any shift in the galactic tide.

"A compelling sales pitch, although lacking in actual substance." A blunt response echoed with droid monotone, as the Skakoan glanced at the nonexistent chessboard, knocking down one pawn after another in his mind. "What I need is hard details, such has how you plan to raise sufficient capital to support your corporation while within the conglomerate, what you plan to develop moving forward to stay relevant in the corporate world. How you plan to advance engineering beyond simply making another wedge-shaped destroyer." He explained in gesture, wanting to know everything down to the last detail in order to make certain that this partnership was fruitful.

Baron Tagge maintained his composure, recognizing the need for concrete details to support his proposal. "Of course, Director. Let me provide you with a more detailed outline of our plans."

"Firstly, regarding capital, TaggeCo has already secured a substantial line of credit from various financial institutions, as well as liquidating some non-essential assets. Our partnership with the Trade Federation would allow us access to additional resources and funding to support our operations and future developments." He explained, ticking off a mental checklist with his idle metallic fingers.

"In terms of our future projects, TaggeCo is focusing on advancing engineering and technology beyond conventional shipbuilding. We are investing heavily in research and development, particularly in the fields of offensive systems, energy efficiency, and artificial intelligence. Our goal is to create cutting-edge spacecraft that not only meet current military standards but also push the boundaries of innovation."

"In short, I seek to once more make TaggeCo the "arsenal of democracy". Our integration into the Galactic Alliance's military industrial complex would not only benefit the Alliance but also open up new avenues for the Trade Federation in areas that are... legally gray," Arsenio suggested, carefully choosing his words to hint at the potential for expansion.

"We've also begun acquisition of the Zero Corporation, as part of our strategy to diversify our portfolio and expand into new markets. The assets of the defunct N&Z Umbrella Corporation will be carefully assessed and integrated into TaggeCo's operations, further strengthening our position in the galactic market. I hope this provides you with the clarity and substance you were seeking, Director. TaggeCo is committed to this partnership and believes that together, we can achieve mutual success and prosperity." Without thinking, the Baron bowed succinctly and handed the holo-padd to the Skakoan for further review.

The Skakoan eagerly awaited Baron Tagge's response to the hypothetical questions, and the outcome was well worth it. The Baron provided clear and concise answers that offered just the right amount of information without delving into complicated economic jargon often used within these kind of business negotiations. Every piece of information was carefully examined and processed in the Skakoan's mind, swiftly categorizing them into attainable and unattainable goals within a projected timeframe.

First - they had raised sufficient capital to provide for themselves without relying solely on handouts from the Trade Federation, which was one of the key points checked off his mental list. Second, TaggeCo was already focusing on advanced engineering and technological achievements beyond conventional shipbuilding, with the ultimate goal of creating cutting-edge spacecraft not only to meet current military classifications but push them beyond their restricted boundaries. Third, they had absorbed the Zero Corporation into their ranks, which will allow more diverse flow of good and services.

"Your Answers are satisfactory, Baron Tagge." A swift response in the same droid monotone, without much passion or rejoice as armored googles glanced more and more at the holo-pad.

"Your membership in the Trade Federation would certainly allow us to expand further in other areas of the galactic market, although I must confess that the recent trends in the Galactic Alliance Market is worrisome to continued business in that area of space. Chancellor's Auteme hostility is another thing to consider." The Skakoan explained in several hand-gestures to make the point across.

As Tagge listened to Director Laborr's concerns and observations, his mind wandered to the broader implications of their conversation. The Galactic Alliance, in his view, was a means to an end, a project of his elder cousin Emmen that had lasted longer than he had thought it would. While he recognized the importance of maintaining a strong presence within the Alliance for the stability of the galactic market, he also saw it as a cumbersome bureaucracy that often hindered growth and innovation.

Laborr, on the other hand, was a different puzzle to solve. The Skakoan's keen analytical skills and attention to detail were impressive, and Tagge could see the potential for a beneficial partnership. However, he also sensed a certain level of caution and perhaps even skepticism in Laborr's demeanor. It was clear that the Skakoan was not easily swayed by mere words and would require tangible evidence of TaggeCo's capabilities and commitment.

As the conversation continued, Tagge made a mental note to provide Laborr with more detailed information about TaggeCo's plans and strategies. He knew that gaining the Skakoan's trust and cooperation would be key to achieving their mutual goals.

"I understand your concerns, Director," Tagge finally spoke, his voice measured. "Chancellor Auteme's policies have certainly posed challenges for corporations like ours. However, I believe that with the right approach, we can navigate these challenges and continue to thrive within the Galactic Alliance."

He paused, choosing his words carefully. "TaggeCo is committed to the long-term success of our partnership with the Trade Federation and our presence within the Galactic Alliance. We are confident that together, we can overcome any obstacles and achieve mutual prosperity."

Tagge's gaze lingered on Laborr, a silent acknowledgment of the Skakoan's importance in their shared endeavors. He knew that winning over the Director would require more than just words; it would require concrete actions and results. And Tagge was determined to deliver.

"We should think of the Galactic Alliance as a puzzle, each piece needs to perfectly in place for it to function properly. As soon as you start replacing those pieces, the puzzle doesn't work as intended. The New Jedi Order is becoming embolden by a lack of leadership in the senate, having fought through the last major war on the frontlines and even during the Caldera Crisis with the Sith Order, some would naturally see them as the new government. Despite what they say on the holonet, more and more planets are becoming dissatisfied with the current status quota, and they will gladly support a new government be it Imperial or Republic." The Skakoan explained in response, having gained creditable information from Senator Grimmin on the tensions brewing within the Galactic Alliance, tension that is not reported on the holonet for the general public to view.

The Alliance was strong currently but how much longer would that last, with the Dark Empire having emerged from seclusion and the Empire of the Lost expanding quite rapidly. Suffering a major defeat by the Dark Empire would deal a critical blow to the economy and the morale of the Alliance, which would mean economic losses for the Trade Federation on a wide variety of fronts.

"TaggeCo should shift their efforts towards the Dark Empire at least temporarily, while we see where the direction of the Alliance is headed. Establishing ourselves as the cog in their industry will allow us to survive extinction should the Alliance collapse, and prevent anyone within their ranks from plotting against us." The Director said placing down the holopad on the table. Their odds of survival would increase if they become a major power within the Dark Empire, as the Alliance will no doubt begin to falter due to the lack of confidence mentioned before.

As Tagge contemplated Director Laborr's words, he saw the logic in the Skakoan's analysis. The Galactic Alliance, while currently stable, was facing internal pressures that threatened its cohesion. The seeming increase of the New Jedi Order's power, coupled with growing dissatisfaction among member planets, painted a precarious picture of the Alliance's future.

The emergence of the Dark Empire and the rapid expansion of the Empire of the Lost added further complexity to the situation. A major defeat by either of these factions could have devastating consequences for the Alliance, leading to economic losses and a decline in the intergalactic stock exchange.

Laborr's suggestion to shift TaggeCo's focus towards the Dark Empire seemed prudent. Establishing a strong presence within the Dark Empire's industry could ensure TaggeCo's survival in the event of the Alliance's collapse. It would also prevent any potential adversaries within the Alliance from plotting against them.

After a moment of contemplation, Tagge spoke. "Your insights are astute, Director. I believe it would be wise for TaggeCo to heed your advice and begin shifting our efforts towards the Dark Empire. We must position ourselves strategically to weather any storms that may lie ahead and ensure our continued prosperity."

The Skakoan was unable to peer into Baron Tagge's mind, but the darting eyes revealed a captivating tale - one that suggested his counsel would be strictly adhered to, which was definitively confirmed a short while later when Arsenio spoke up once more offering a subtle compliment to the Director's astute insights into the economic landscape of the galaxy, and insuring that TaggeCo would begin integrating themselves within the Dark Empire's economic machine in the event that the Galactic Alliance proved unreliable.

"The Trade Federation has already begun to ramp up war productions within the Galactic Alliance, by introducing much needed military hardware. If TaggeCo could accomplish the same feat under the brand of the Dark Empire, then the two powers will naturally engage with one another on equal footing. A protracted and stagnated war will bring equitable returns to our entire conglomerate, as we play both sides against each other." He would offer a potential suggestion, by stating that the Trade Federation had already begun war preparations with the Dark Empire within their Alliance Holdings by funding large amounts of shipbuilding. TaggeCo could potentially offer the same deal to the Dark Empire and bog both powers down into a stalemate.
