18:00 hours, 4 months since the queen's ball on Imahalayan

The once sweet smelling streets of the capital vibrant with life food and music now sat a cold and loveless clean in silence but for the few late commuters home and the ruffling of animals working their way through the back alleys.

*Clop Clop Clop*

The sounds of his boots reverberated off of the marble pathways and off into the sea air. His hair once short now long and flowing over his head in a tamed mess. His face was covered with a rough beard and some new scars accompanied with the lit Cigarra and sharp jawline. As he continued through the street his long flowing brown coat trailed in the wind whilst leaving him mostly covered with hands running into coat pockets.

The footsteps would continue up the stairway to the city hall and scrape to a halt in front of the guard.

"Whats your business?" Said the well armed and solemn looking officer as he eyed the man

"I'm here to see the queen and you are going to take me to her" The coat clad figure spoke in a slightly gruff tone as his hand waved out of his pocket and up to his chin.

"Of course sir, um right this way."

Avin walked through as the officer opened the front now heavily defended gate to the event hall before crunching the cigar under his foot

"After you, officer" Avin gestured and they made their way off into the winding maze of governmental building corridors

4 months

Lot can happen in so little time, within four months she had the council removed completed gained full control herself over the kingdom she now ruled. She had met a few people here and there but however no sign of her husband still

The guard qpild lead him up the winding rode all the way up a hill that overlooked the city where the now quiet capital was just a small noise those going to get things and then back home yet again

A knock on her door, stardust had just laid down her child and made herself a caf, she wasn't expecting anyone at all , she however felt a guard and...someone that had disappeared

She opened the door seeing the guard was dazed she waved her hand

return to your post

The guard would nod and walked back down, star looked to avin as she sized him up, unlike last time she had a wrap around her eyes as she spoke

So the dead do walk still, come on in looks like it'll rain

He stared straight at her as she spoke, the voice sounded colder as the words trickled out of her green lips. Her mere presence had changed from the painful calm and warmth that enshrouded her before hand to that which he spoke to today. She was colder now. Darker like a repression of all things he was taught to cast out on his four months of solitude.

He entered the small door that he had left so long ago. He withdrew his hat and placed it on the coat rack.

Avin said no words as he stepped through past her and stared out the window. The prior sunlight had diminished and the rumbling of thunder erupted off at sea.

"This is what you have become?"

He took a Cigarra from a small box in his coat and slid it between his lips before striking a match and placing it to. The smoke billowed out and he opened the window a crack creating a vent for the second hand to leave.

She friends away from him as she got a caf for him as she sat it on the table nearby and sat down, she didn't speak a word for a minute just listening to the rumble of thunder off far away coming from the sea

His words hit her deep, it was quite a slap in the face to be honest, but true as day. She badly had let herself fall hard harder then she should've

She looked up to him as she spoke

a lot has happened since you've left...mpre then I can say...i have barely anything left

His face stayed steely and gaze fixed on the sea as the rain started to hammer on the front porch. Smoke continued to perforate its way throughout the room. He flicked the ash ridden butt out of the window and let it slide shut before turning and walking to the chair.

He unfurled his jacket and slid it across the chair's back before sitting and staring down at the coffee.

"You are going to need to explain a few things and so am I... It's going to be a long night."

His hand grasped down for the cup and showed his arm and the multiple scars and tattoos that now perpetuate their place there. He gulped down the first mouthful and placed it back to the counter.

"I'm sorry for leaving but you gave me no choice. I just want you to know whatever comes of this it wasn't my unloyalty or disrespect for you but for the ones you were getting into bed with for control of this planet. It's for the fact that you had good men and women CIVILIANS may I add! Killed in COLD BLOOD!!" His voice raised before returning to its calmer deep tone.

"I had no choice, and I wasn't going to fight and kill for a cause so rotten to the core that they are the definition of evil in this galaxy! But I wasn't going to let them kill me either."

He finished the drink and set it back to the table with a thump

She looked away and nodded, she had so much to explains she needed to tell him everything get it off her mind

She looked to his arm seeing the scars and tattoos he now had on him, she looked away again shame and guilt coming up in her. It only intensified when he spoke about her having civilians killed in cold blood. She clenched her hands as she stood and almost yelled but kept he voice down anger and hurt lacing each word

I NEVER SLEPT WITH ANY OF THEM! nor..nor did I kill anyone....im not a heartless killer, I don't know where you've heard anything about me killing but I've done none and I've not slept with anyone!

She sat back down as she rubbed her forehead breathing heavily and shook her head

they wouldn't of killed you...id of killed them first...avin...to much has happened to much has gone on details are missing for you

She said and sat up as she started to undoing the binding in her eyes and let it fall showing the golden stained eyes

He sat, staring into the empty cup on the table and listened.

"It's a figure of speech" he muttered under his breath as she went on about sleeping.

The binding then fell and he looked up to the once-headstrong adventure that pulled him by the collar out of a coruscanti prison and saw her changed.

His demeanor changed and his body tensed, hands clenching at the arms of his chair

"What did they do to you?"

His voice louder was tinged with worry and regret.

She sighed as she looked to a mirror, hiwnstky she hadn't seen her eyes in awhile and frowned as she blinked and looked to him speechless for but a moment then spoke

it's not what they've done..its what I've been doing to myself...allowing myself to fall so far from the stress

She bowed he read ashamed beyond words, it was slowly coming to her now. Sage has been not looking after herself and instead worked to try and clean this mess up...now she was suffering because of it

[member="Avin Starfire"]

She looked up to him as she sighed and spoke

the stress and anger within me is finally taking a nasty hold on me...so many have left me and so many have come...but I am still so far gone and alone

She said as she stood and got some more caf before setting hands shaking as she covered her eyes

I've let the dark side take it's hold on me...and with nothing but a single anchor im...falling

He sat and listened with the information meeting him he stood and walked once again to the window taking a Cigarra from his pocket and lit it between his lips.

"You know, I thought you were the strongest person I knew. I knew you were with what you had been through and although I was too weak and blind to see at the time."

He blew out a puff of smoke and brought his hand around controlling the cloud and sent it out of the window

"I don't want to know what you have done these last months. But what I do know is some people that can clean this all up. It's not your fault Star, none of this is your fault. It's the Order and I'm telling you if I ever find the man that got into your head ill take his from his shoulders! But what you have to do now is not to cry about what you have done. It's time to pick up what you have left and put together what you can. I'm sorry I left you but I'm stronger than I was before I can help."

His head was spinning with smoke and confusion. He hadn't realized how far she'd gone. This sort of Darkside physical change was only seen on those that really leaned on it for power, the power to do things he didn't want to know what she had done with.

"Why don't you just leave? Sell off the droid factories and houses and run off with your money and kid make a new life for yourself? Let me help you Star. I... I just don't know what it all means. What happened? It was all so easy and good..."

He sat and held the Cigarra in suspension in front of him as he tried to slow his thoughts. It was too much too quickly.

Stardust stood, she at one time was strong and powerful feared even in battle. She looked sour the window as she sighed and as she glanced back

I can't leave, avin you see the town how is peaceful nothing going on just a few things here and there....ive worked to get it that was...and if I leave it'll be chaos

She turned and placed a hand on him, she sighed and spoke again

help me gain control of this place again, be here by my side and assist me...not as my guard but as my advisor

She said with hope in her eyes

He felt her touch run over his shoulder. He felt it the cold that permeated throughout this whole region. The corruption and pain.

"If I stay here with you, I need to know that you will never go back to whatever place you were or are in your head."

He walked away from her and rubbed his arms for a second before turning back and nodded

"Fine, ill do it. But if they come back here again I won't run this time..."

His hands trembled back down to his side and he centered himself "I know some people that can help. They can help everyone they can help you. But first I need to know what happened to the council and the planet when I left on that night."

[member="Avin Starfire"]

She looked at him as he moved away from her, she looked away as she nodded and looked up again

I promise, I promise that I won't return to the dark place that I had in my mind...im done...im done hiding and I'm done setting

She walked towards her as she stood tall again and rolled her shoulders as she sighed turning to sit back down closing her eyes as she nodded

I imprisoned them, they ate on the second moon in high security lock down, I couldn't bring myself to kill them as I just can't

She stood as she sighed and walked the kitchen as she gave a smile that seemed like a fire being started

it's good to have you back

His complexion fell back to a worried frown as he picked up his coat.

"its good to be back. Oh actually I have something for you, guess its about time I gave it back."

A small bronzed hilt was slid from his jacket before being slid across the table.

"Ill, be in town for this evening. I have some... unfinished business so please sleep and rest we have a long day tomorrow."

He smiled and nodded to Star as he moved closer "It'll be ok!"

He slid his hat on and wrapped the coat around before stepping out into the porch.

rain now crashing down onto the house like a rumble of artillery shells. The wind rip roared its way across the hilltop the house sat in. Lightning forced its way across the night's sky to the hum of thunder and flash. As well as waves crashing against the sea wall.

He opened the door and turned back to Star meeting her gaze once more.

She looked at him as she returned her bidnimg back to her eyes, however she looked at it and let it fall down before she burned it away

She looked up again, she saw that bronze hilt being slid to her and caught it as she inspected it, she watched him get closer and simply smiled

However she listened to the rain and frowned, seemed like a bad one this evening, she watched him moving to the door and open it the sound louder then before. She looked down away from his gaze then up again as she took a few big steps and took his hand putting the saber in his hand ans spoke

a force user, never forgets their weapon of trade

She said with confidence looking at him

"To whom I owe nothing, nothing shall I take."

The words passed through Avin with a steely revision, something learned and harshened into his very mind.

"Please keep it he said handing it back. I have no need for this weapon anymore. I have learned other ways and have other tools than this although I thank you for your generosity, however, I can no longer keep this with me. It is an artifact of a past era..."

"Star, it's hard for me to explain but after I left I went away for a long time longer than I can explain and I still don't understand myself."

His grip on the hilt strengthened and he stared deep into her eyes.

"I'll be here by 6 tomorrow morning so be ready... Thank you"

He turned and opened the door stepped outside and tipped his hat back inside

"Sleep well!"

He turned and started walking back off down the trail, rain smashing the ground yet worked its way around Avin like a sphere was protecting him, though not completely and the odd droplet would find a way through to set itself into his hat or coat.

The lightning flashed brightly, she could only simply nod as she looked to the saber and moved it drop his hand, she then looked at him as she went to speak but knew no more words were needed

The door opened again with the wind howling against her as she bowed her was, she watched him walk away watching the rain part but for a fee odd drops, she smiled big and spoke to no one but the wind

heheh....truly there is people that have my power now

She turned and closed the door heading to the room and chuckled as she laid down and sighed falling asleep

04:45
Imahalayan
Capital Cities outskirts

*Bleep Bleep Bleep... THUMP*

Avin's hand collided with the device and ended any noise from continuing. He rubbed his eyes and rolled upwards off of the mat and onto his knees, he made his way to the small fountain of clean water within his shuttle and washed himself down. Before he could continue he had to check last night's work had not gone amiss and checked in with his R-4 unit all was well.

5:10

He made his way across the soaked marble pathways and made his way to the sea wall. The streets sat bare all signs of life tucked and hidden away, the smell of salt wafted in from the coast. Avin took up a position on the quayside and checked his watch, 5:00, perfect. He started his routine of ritual movements and exercises pushing and pulling at the elements around him Avin cleared his mind and only left it to exercise the routines that he knew so well.

5:45

Avin cleaned himself up and got dressed for the day, it would be a long one and he barely knew how to solve the complicated situation ahead of him. With work and upkeep, anything is possible that's what they would say if here now.

6:00 rolled around and Avin crossed over the crest to see Stardust's humble abode. Crossing the porch into her house and out of the elements Avin stood dressed in a new black coat stopping just at the knee. He knocked the door quietly three times as not to wake the most likely sleeping child that usually resided within the house.

She woke up around five, this was enough time to get something made for herself to eat read up and no doubt be ready

She started by getting one of her precooked meals she makes specially for herself, this took about five minutes and she was already eating and reading ears listening for her child that was still asleep, sometimes he slept through the night sometimes he didn't other. After that she stood and went out back the time was about 520 still enough time

She sat and mediated, she knew that what was to lie ahead was a path to redemption both for her and her people...she needed to go and see the council first and free them...and explain herself

5:40 rolled around she got back up and into the house changing from her nightwear to her normal clothes deciding this time to exclude the robes

The knock came and she answered with a small smile

right on the dot
