Wrynn was not part of the Confederacy. He was a foreign Stormtrooper, and he had participated in the defense of Atrisia only as an ally. The dictate that he be handled in quarantine and kept to a specific ward of Golbah made absolute sense, and he had not fought it. They told him that after the tests were complete and he was cleared, they would have him meet with some of the high ranking officials of the Confederacy about his service.
That time seemed to drag on for an eternity. A man not gifted with space magic, and who had spent the last ten or so years as a number in the rank and file of Imperial Stormtroopers experienced that span of time with tremendous ennui. His armor was in holding, and so was his rifle. He was restricted only to the one ward, with access to only one cooling zone.
And that was subsequently where he deigned to spend most of his time. It was hot. Hotter than hell, in Tobias' opinion. Some of his memories seemed to indicate that he'd spent time working on some backwater world with intense heat, but it was so far behind the fog he couldn't place it.
All he knew was that he hated Geonosis.
"I need water," he murmured as he stopped to grab a sip from his canteen. They didn't have a communal fountain, or anything else that might spread rampant infection if someone were afflicted. And people didn't just come and go here. The only ones who were allowed to freely access this area were VIPs, someone who knew someone, essentially.
Despite that, the garden was beautiful and had a peaceful atmosphere. Wrynn decided he didn't hate it.
