It was going to be a short stop. The space station Herrel had landed in was a small affair, little more then a place to refuel and repair. Atin'Galaar lived up to its name, the Deep-X Explorer was an old ship model but a reliable one. Herrel was fairly confident that it could take him from one end of the galaxy to the other without issue. Though it could be a bit cramped. But, it did occasionally need to refuel, and just because it probably wouldn't break doesn't mean it can't break. Take care of your tools and they will take care of you, or so the old adage went.

Herrel had to bend down to make it through Atin'Galaar's door and out into the hangar. However, Herrel was not alone. A Mynock-class light freighter occupied it as well. It was not an uncommon sight, it was a popular model for Enclave civilians. Locally produced, cheap, easily customizable, excellent cargo capacity. Popular whether you were a Mandalorian or an Aruetti. This one, however, was piloted by no Aruetti.

They had exited their ship around the same time Herrel had, and wore the armor of Clan Krayt. Herrel had wired the maintenance fee to the station as he had made his approach, there was little to do but wait while the station attendants and droids saw to his ship. So he approached them, raising a hand in greeting. "Su cuy'gar, Vod. What brings you here?"

After receiving the news about his mother, and the emotional trauma of receiving it from her killer on top of it all, Yuri was a grieving mess in search of an escape. His 'escape' turned into a very long trip of unhealthy vices and bad decisions that eventually brought him to some backwater station in Enclave space. As a result, the Shistavanen was incredibly hung over when he emerged from his freighter. How he even managed to land his ship was a surprise for him.

Keeping his armour and helmet on to shelter his fragile body and senses, Yuri waddled along like a zombie in an attempt to get some direction. Standing up was already a hefty mission for him. A wince rippled under his helmet as he heard someone call out to him. A Mandalorian if his sensitive ears were correct. Slowly turning his head, and half his body, to see who it was, the stranger's magnitude had him reaching for his pistol.

"If this is about money I owe, can we do this another day?" He drawled with a battered voice. He kept his eyes on the stranger as he took a step back towards his ship. The stranger might be Mandalorian, but that didn't stop others in the past from coming after him.

The moment they began to reach for their blaster, Herrel stopped in his tracks. He had left his heavier weaponry on his ship, but he took great restraint to not instinctively reach for the piercers holstered at his waist. Drawing them would not be helpful, and besides they were not exactly quick draw weapons. Nonetheless, he had not been able to keep an initial twitch from his fingers. "Money? I am not here for money." Herrel looked the stranger up and down. He saw their unsteady posture, had heard the weariness in their voice. "You do not look well," he said bluntly.

Herrel did not speak again for several seconds. He was still, neither his body nor his head moved. Perhaps he was further scrutinizing Yuri. Then, abruptly, he turned away. As he did so he said, "Come. Whatever food this station can offer, I will treat you to." He did not wait for Yuri's answer as he began to make his way out of the hanger. It was already assumed.

To Yuri's surprise, and relief, the stranger was not here over some past deal. It seemed to purely be coincidence that the two Mandalorians bumped into each other. "Thank kriff." Yuri muttered as he relaxed and shifted his hand away from his weapon. The stranger made an observation that earned a snicker as Yuri smiled behind his helmet. "Yeah, well... go figure. I took enough crap to kill a person, so no surprise there." He commented as he approached the stranger.

Without any reason, the stranger offered to buy him some food. Yuri was about to object, but the growl in his stomach objected to his thoughts and let him follow the giant. Eventually they came to some sort of cantina on the station and the Shistavanen took the chance to remove his helmet. His eyes were bloodshot and his features were dark as he stared up at the stranger. "So... who are you? Feels a bit funky bumping into some Mando with a bleedin' heart out here." He remarked as he sat back.

"For the record. I hope you ain't made about what I said earlier. I got some business that's been messy this past week or two... can't really recall." He apologized as he outstretched a hand to the man. "Name's Yuri, by the way." He introduced himself to the stranger.

The Cantina they had come to could scarcely be called that. The corridors Herrel and Yuri had to walk through were small and cramped, Herrel had been forced to walk sideways or hunched over through some of them. Luckily when they had found food it the space it was in was a slight upgrade. Enough for Herrel to stand up at least. The Cantina was built into the wall of what looked to be a former service corridor with stools set in front of it like a bar. The droid manning it didn't even have legs. It was only a torso embedded in the wall which took orders and payment. They couldn't even see into the cooking area, there was only a closed hatch embedded in the wall with a conveyer belt coming out of it. After giving an experimental press upon one of the small stools and observing a degree of wiggling, Harrel elected to stand.

Herrel turned to the Mandalorian which had elected to sit down. He could see they were a Shistavanen now. His earlier statement on their condition continued to be accurate as their eyes were clearly bloodshot. They asked who he was and he responded, "I am Herrel of Clan Elder. I am a Chaaj." Herrel listened as Yuri spoke further, expressing his hopes that Herrel wasn't mad and introducing themselves. Herrel perhaps was about to reply, but he was interrupted by a sound. The hatch opened and a bowl of some sort of noodle dish rolled out. Herrel reached out and picked it up, subsequently placing it in front of Yuri.

"This is the way."
