I would love for Jedi who choose to, to be able to apply for or train under a military person to have their own special advisory rank specific to a Jedi or force user working with the military, perhaps at a rank of no higher than captain?

Not like how every master in the clone wars was a general, but SOMETHING.

It makes little sense why the military would not use, yaknow, people who can see the future.
