STRENGTHS

• Overwhelming Aerospace Superiority: Containing an immense twenty squadrons of assorted Starfighters, Bombers, Troop Transports and Shuttles the Repressor-Class maintains control through quantity of numbers, overwhelming enemies through the sheer volume of small craft. It can field enough small craft to disable and destroy Capital Ships, engage in planetary bombardments and control an area of engagement through numbers alone. Its advanced sensor array allows it detect enemy craft at range as well ensuring that it can deploy its own craft before hostiles have it on their scans.
• A Brickhouse: The Repressor-Class has a foundation of reinforced durasteel overlaid by a reinforced quandanium hull and reactive quandanium plating. This, again is reinforced by triple phase deflector shielding meaning that three layers of deflector shields are used to overlap one another. As a capital ship the Repressor-Class is capable of taking a monumental amount of damage and can withstand the virtual lions share of firepower directed at it.
• A Legion in Space: Each Repressor-Class starship can house an entire legion of five thousand (5000) Purgetroopers. It is essentially a small military force that can arrive over a planet considered hostile to the Imperial Confederation or rumored to be harboring rogue Force Users and quell most forms of resistance in a minimum amount of time efficiently, effectively and in devastating fashion.

WEAKNESSES

• Not a Battle Cruiser: The main advantage of the Repressor-Class is in its vast Squadron capacity and ability to control different zones of space using those squadrons. Against larger, more well equipped Capital Ships it is at a disadvantage in terms of firepower. It is only equipped with light and medium turbolasers which means while it could destroy Corvette and Frigate class vessels it would be largely ineffective in ship to ship combat against larger, more robust starships. If its starfighter compliment is destroyed it is essentially toothless against other combat vessels of comparative size.

DESCRIPTION
When intimidation fails insurgency must be crushed and local populaces must be repressed. Any planet thought to be harboring a rogue enclave of Jedi or rumored to have sympathies of rebellion must be crushed with extreme prejudice. Woe to such worlds for they often have the unfortunate privilege of being visited by one of the Repressor-Class Heavy Carrier, the sight of which has been enough to break the spirit of insurgents and rebels.

Only six (6) such Heavy Carriers are said to exist, one of which is commanded by the High Inquisitor herself or held on standby should she deign to command it. The Repressor-Class is built on a foundation of durasteel and quandanium, both of which have been reinforced for optimization. Triple-Phase Deflector Shielding, Missile Deactivation Transmitters and Sensor Scramblers help in ensuring that the Repressor-Class is nigh impregnable. These Capital Ships also boast upwards of fifty (50) point defense lasers for use against enemy Starfighters. Many of the defenses are almost redundant, they overlap one another to such a degree that those commanding such vessels have been known to have airs of invulnerability in the face of enemy firepower.

Typically a Repressor-Class is a full two thousand (2000) meters in length with roughly a third (700 meters) such volume accounting for its height and a quarter (400 meters) as much for its width. Equipped with multiple hangars the Heavy Carriers have an assortment of Starcraft at their disposal from a full ten (10) squadrons of Fighters, another six (6) squadrons of Bombers, a squadron (1) of Gunships and three (3) more squadrons of assorted Shuttlecraft and Support Ships. In turn the Carrier is also home to a full legion (5000 troops) of Purgetroopers at the disposal of the Inquisitorious for use against insurrectionists and larger Force User threats. There are also quarters reserved for High Ranking Imperials and Intelligence Officers.

While the Inquistorious is a considered an arm of Imperial Intelligence, under the command of such Officers, Repressor-Class Command Carriers are thought of as synonymous with the Inquisitors. In theory their Captains and Officers are loyal to the Imperial Confederation however the Inquisitors themselves are vastly intimidating, especially those to whom such vessels are actually commanded by and so in practice the test of loyalty is not always in line with reality. This is, perhaps why the Confederation has so limited the number of Repressor-Class vessels that had been constructed. As a side note it is also not uncommon to see a Repressor-Class accompanied by a number of smaller, Stygian-Class Corvettes, when deployed or for such vessels to be the precursor to the arrival of a Repressor-Class.
