Description: Designed to be the mainstay fighter of the Rendili Home Defense Forces, the R-Series Starfighter, R for Rendili, is a craft dedicated to starfighter combat. Armed with four laser cannons with both staggered and linked fire modes, one on each wing, the Rendili Starfighter also comes equipped with a forward mounted ion cannon along its nose, with a single proton torpedo launcher with five(5) torpedos. Aiming to use the ion cannon to disable enemy fighters or drain their shields for laser fire or a torpedo to eliminate the craft fully, or to allow more effective damage against small corvettes and frigates with a squadron launching a barrage of ion blasts before launching a torpedo salvo, the Rendili Starfighter aims to be a menacing opponent against enemy craft. The new mainstay of the Rendili Defense Fleet, the R-Series hopes to make an impact and spread into greater galactic navies as well.
