"You made sure to put three shots of expresso in my white mocha right?" She questioned the Barista as she reached for her cup sitting on the counter. After receiving a nod in agreement Chloe picked up her mug and headed for an empty table in the busy little cafe. It seemed to be really busy tonight actually when she thought about it this place was always really busy. It was part of the reason she liked it so much. Well, that and the caf which she was admittedly addicted to. It was actually so bad that her sister had bought her a fancy expresso machine for her birthday which she loved. It was good to get out sometimes and mingle with others.

Chloe had found that by just sitting here with her datapad that she could learn a lot of interesting things about everything. Mostly people just talked about whom was sleeping with whom but on occasion she picked up on some usable intel. There were even times were would make a new connection as someone would sit down and just start talking. She never minded being bothered as she really did enjoy meeting new people.

Pulling out her datapad she set it on the table as she took a sip of her caf glancing around at the different folks in attendance tonight. Nobody stood out to her as of right now but the right was still young. Looking down to the datapad she mindlessly surfed the holonet. Even though she was off duty right now here Chloe was working like normal.

Onyx was on planet trying to relax. He was stressing with the whole Clockwork Rebellion. He currently had orders to receive mission reports and updates from the battle on New Alderaan. He was refueling when he heard about this cafe. He couldn't resist.

As he walked in he saw it being slightly busy. He walked up to the bar and sat beside a women. He thought she was attractive. But he was to stressed to say anything. He just got a simple shot. Nothing strong. But of course he would keep getting more. After ten shots he was sober. He could finally talk. He turned to the girl. "You know what really sucks about this war? People like me are getting crap for fighting when they do nothing." Onyx just sighed into his empty shot glass. He tapped it on the counter, signaling that he wanted another round.

 

[Alli Wren]

Alli smiled and went to the Viper cafe, she loved a good caf, but when she saw a girl there, one that she hadn't seen before. One that peaked her interest in more ways than one. She smirked, the woman was cute. Alli had to approach her. She didn't even notice the drunk, as one learned to ignore them after a while. It also wasn't every day the CEO of Baktoid Industries sat down by you. She sat down next to the girl and spoke to the Barista " What ever she is having and her tab is on me." She said with a smile, she was confident knew what she wanted, that was this girl, hopefully she liked women to.. as that would be rather embarassing. " Hello, I couldn't help but notice you sitting here alone."

Onyx laughed. He look over past the women to the new patron of the bar. "Who says she alone?" Onyx extended his arm towards her. "Name is Onyx."

It wasn't long until she was joined by someone moaning about the Rebellion very loudly which caught her attention. Turning her head to look at him she just smiled and nodded for now. It looked as if things had just gotten interesting which was great reading the news was pretty dull.

As she put her datapad away she was joined by a woman. The night was just getting better by the minute. Just as she was about to introduce herself Onyx kind of did and insinuated that the two of them were together. That in of itself was very interesting and she decided to roll with it for now. "I'm Chloe it's nice to meet you," she smiled. "I normally come here alone but sometimes my buddies follow me here. They know my hang outs."

 

[Alli Wren]

Buddies, that was a good sign, " Hello Chloe and Onyx was it? " She smiled, I am Alli Wren, I have never seen you here before, so I had to come say hi and get to know you. " She looked her over obviously, in a leering manner, not the manner of your normal woman to woman look over, She liked what she saw. Alli wondered, if either knew who she was... but figured it didn't matter, she was here, doing something she normally never did which is why she was curious if Chole was at all interested.

Onyx took another shot before continuing. "You, Alli Wren. You're that politician." Onyx said in his drunk voice as he received another shot. "What is your take on Omni?" He asked as he downed the new shot.

"It's nice to meet you Alli. I would love to get to know you more," she smiled back at the woman. She had never been flirted to by a woman before it was quiet different. Chloe couldn't say that she didn't like it though and wasn't interested. She wanted to see where the night went.

Her glance went to the obviously drunk Onyx whom was questioning the politician. She was kind of curious on the answer herself. "What do you think of him Onyx?" Chloe was pretty good at making people talk. It was much easier though when they were drunk however.

Onyx decided he was done with shots and went on to full bottles. He opened the bottle of Mandalorian wine and began to drink some. After downing half the bottle in one go he turned to Chloe, "It depends on the where the alliance lay. I trust anyone. I even trust the Republic. The problem is that no one trusts me." Onyx then took another sip and turned back to Alli. "So who are you with in this chaos?"

 

[Alli Wren]

Alli smiled," I would love to get you more as well, but on the subject of Omni... He needs to die, he has taken over far too many of my facilities and turned my own droids against people, I don't like when people take what's mine. I am working on an EMP, but alas no one has stepped up to help so its just me and what scientist's I could save before... the attacks. " She frowned... that damn droid... " But lets think of more cheerful topics such as just who is Chloe ? " She said with a smile, Alli hoped that tonight went well, but then again anything could happen.
Alli took a drink of her caf, which was whatever Chloe had, it was strong.. she liked her expresso. That was for sure.

Onyx shook his head as he took another sip of his wine. "Well if you ever need help I'm always here." He took another sip and returned to Chloe. "So what about you?"

"Omni, is a big pain my butt. He makes my job so much more difficult now a days. I am honestly working double time now just to try and catch up with him. I'm a computer programmer so you can just imagine what happened to my files and the lovely computer I build from scratch. It's all gone and now I'm starting from scratch. Alli if you need help I'm more than willing to." she sighed taking another sip of her drink. Alli was right on one thing though they did need to move on to more cheerful topics.

"Why does nobody trust you Onyx? Trust takes time to build and can be shattered in a second. You seem trustworthy in a way though."

 

[Darren Onyx]

Onyx gave a small chuckle. He turned to her and started to point at his many scars that dotted his face. "This is why. People automatically assume I'm the bad guy." Onyx was particularly rubbing the largest of the scars. It ran from his upper left forehead all the was down, vertically, to his collar bone.

He took another sip of his wine. "I may not be Jedi but I can still help..." Onyx suddenly realized what he said, and bit his tongue for it. He realized they might find out he was Sith, risking his life. He then shook the thought away with another sip of wine. He wasn't worried. They only had blasters. He had two lightsabers.

 

[Alli Wren]

Alli smiled " Really.. well then, when you want to go and help, I shall have a shuttle pick you up. " She looked at the man... he seemed to be hiding something. " I do believe your willing to help but sometimes people aren't willing to accept that help, you just have to be there, and offer it anyways.. be the bigger man. " She smiled at Chloe... " I can help you with your computer problem... I specialize in computers and droids... I am not a politician as Onyx said but the CEO of Baktoid Industries. " that had bugged her for a while and she had to correct it.

Onyx shook his head. "I can help. As extra security. Omni would know if you trying to fix something. You may need someone to watch your back." Onyx knew that they wouldn't trust him. So he swallowed and decided to tell them the truth. He gulped down the rest of the wine and turned to them. "I'm a Sith Knight. But when it comes to Omni, we all need to help." He only hoped the truth would help them trust him.

Chloe wasn't necessary friendly with Sith but she appreciated his honestly and sometimes you had to work with the enemy against an even greater threat. It also wouldn't hurt for her to get to know as Sith as it was possible he was different than those she had heard about. She was with the Republic but that didn't mean she couldn't use him to help her gather intel. She didn't need help with security as she did very well looking after herself but it couldn't hurt to have a little extra help.

"You are? Really? That would be wonderful, both of you. I could use all of the help that I can get. If we band together perhaps we can defeat him together. We could go in the morning and that. We may all be a little too tipsy to do anything right now." There was that and she was going to have to figure out a way to get them to her things without revealing too much. She wasn't as open as they were but that was all apart of her job description.

 

[Alli Wren]

"Its a deal, I could use both of you, to help. Though I was wondering if before we go, perhaps you would have dinner with me Chloe?" She said, hoping she said yes, she was cute... and Alli wanted to see if it went anywhere. She didn't often go after people so it was rare for Alli to do something like this. She smiled at both of them. It was a nice afternoon, and dispite the war, it was a good day. Alli looked at Chloe, waiting for an answer, trying to prepare her heart for either answer.

Onyx wasn't surprised at Alli. He could read her mind like an open book.... mainly cause they were all drinking but still. He stood up, dropped some credits on the table to pay for all the shots and bottle of wine he had. "Well you two have fun," Onyx said. He then put a piece of paper on the desk. "This has my hotel location and room number. Get me in the morning," Onyx said as he left the cafe. He was drunk. He didn't care. It was a good way to relax after all the current events.

Davin entered the cafe with a tired look. He'd only just got back from helping the Republic take yet another planet into it's fold. He was growing tired of war and this insatiable lust for conquest the Republic seemed to have taking up. Taking others liberty wasn't exactly his cup of tea. He bumped past a drunken passerby with a chuckle in his dress uniform with his blaster pistol on his hip.

Those were the days he mumbled as he moved toward the bar.
He sat at the bar with the same tired look and ordered a stimcaf. Too early to drink.

Sighing she sat next to a man at the bar whom almost looked as tired as her. This looked to be the place to go if you were rundown and needed a drink. The last few weeks had been quite overwhelming for her. Finding her long lost brother and learning she was an aunt was a lot to process. On top of that her brother was getting married like tomorrow and she was going to be a bridesmaid. The Jedi Master was used to dealing with a lot in her life but this, all of it, was very overwhelming.

Ordering herself a tea in hopes that would calm her nerves. She glanced to the man next to her, "Long day," she questioned with a smile. Kalia hoped talking to someone would help get her mind off things. She knew beer would but she didn't want to start off with a drink in her hand right away. The night was still young and she didn't want to end up a drunken mess.
