Relations with other Factions and major players

A few weeks ago, this topic was raised in a Weekly News and since then a few volunteers have been working with the FA team to come up with a plan. And a plan they have duly provided.

So, to ensure we keep up to date with what the other key Factions (or even significant organisations such as big industries) are up to, and to let them know what we're doing, it was agreed that:

1. We need a list of volunteers that we can then assign to a given Faction/organisation

2. So if you're keen, please post here to say:

i. What Factions/organisations are you familiar with?

ii. Have you already built any positive or negative relationships with them?

iii. What makes you ideally suited to be the diplomatic liaison. And this does not mean the role best suits a politician by the way. The Mandalorians - as a good example - would no doubt not take kindly to a Senator being their key contact - a more military type is far more likely to be a better choice.

It's worth saying that, as obvious as it might appear, we need active members to take these roles. Someone who would ideally be proactive in updating both ways. Letting them know our key initiatives and telling our IC and OOC leadership teams what they need to be aware of.

Veino is ICly familiar with the Underground, Omega Protectorate, much-smaller-than-previous Order of the Grey, the NPC Jensaarai, and SpyNet.The only one with a neutral relationship is SpyNet because he's affiliated through an alias.

He probably can't be an "official" liaison with anyone except the Jensaarai (Who probably won't accept an outsider) but he can be more of an unofficial-but-acknowledged representative and specialist.

Orick had built up a bit of a relationship with the Mandolorians. He has been to a couple of their dominions to help them out and is pretty friendly with Mandolores sister, if that helps

As a Mandalorian I support [member="Orick T'ane"] as the diplomatic liaison for us. He has a positive relationship with me, the Mandalore's sister plus is helping in a dominion. Orick fits in really well with the Mandos.

None outside the Republic!

ii. Have you already built any positive or negative relationships with them?
Sabena is relatively unknown outside the Republic.

iii. What makes you ideally suited to be the diplomatic liaison. And this does not mean the role best suits a politician by the way. The Mandalorians - as a good example - would no doubt not take kindly to a Senator being their key contact - a more military type is far more likely to be a better choice.
Sabena is the cutest, and I'm active with her and willing to do fun stuff!

The Underground's a decentralized resistance movement targeting One Sith, Fringe, ACA, Imperial Remnant, and Primeval. More of a rougher, less propagandized Rebel Alliance without the Selectivism.

Gilamar Skirata, recently replaced Mand'alor is my older blood brother.
Azreal be Skirata, adopted son of Gilamar and current Mand'alor is technically my nephew so I would hope so.

I'm a Mandalorian from Manda'yaim. I speak a variety of languages often associated with seedier places and did I mention I was the Mand'alor's uncle?
