Description: Though the Crinan's possess their own version of a tank, the Remnant requires a diverse fighting force crafted for various combat situations. The Kath is suited for taking out enemy craft, but is ill suited for engagements involving ground forces, due to its lack of defensive weaponry. Seeing this as the case, Regent has designed a main battle tank meant to take on enemy craft as well as ground forces. Equipped with a main weapon, a mobile turret, an AA emplacement, and anti-personnel turrets, all controlled remotely from within, the craft is literally a fighting force in itself.

Unlike the Kath, with its single armament, small size, and quick speeds, the Rendeles is much larger and slower. This is taken into account by the fact that a large power core is necessary to power the weapons systems. Add in the additional armored weight and you have a much slower tank. Though it is well rounded, and designed for taking on a myriad of situations, it is not impenetrable. It possesses no shield against EMP blasts, and no shielding from arms fire aside from its armor.

The tank is not equipped with the kind of vision equipment that some tanks are. It can see forward and some to the sides, but can generally only see in the direction that the turret is pointing, making it vulnerable to fire from the rear. The only potential viewpoint to the rear it has is if the gun turrets are swiveled to point in that direction, which isn't likely to happen often since the tanks work in groups alongside infantry. So it has a blind spot, but it makes up for it in firepower.
