Regaining an ancient Legacy

Rapax had traveled to Korriban for another adventure into the Valley of the Dark Lords. This time though he brought along [member="Draco Vereen"] and [member="Tmoxin Temi"] for this venture as he would need there expertise on this matter. He waited for them at the center of the dead valley meditating in the center while he waited. They where going after the holocron of Darth Bane the sith who made the rule of two as well as various other techniques ...No doubt he will enjoy sharing the knowledge with his companions when they find it...but for now he has to wait for them to arrive.

I had never been to the valley of the Dark Lords before. Partially because it held no sacred meaning to me or anything of the like, and partially because it had been cleaned out so many times by Jedi and their kind that if it had a dark side bone left I would be surprised. No, I hadn't arranged to meet anyone here because the object I sought was here. I wanted to meet on Korriban to find the first piece of the trail. Everything was like hunting, you just had to know how to track the prey you were after. Looking randomly on Sith worlds wasn't how you track an ancient and powerful artifact.

Tmoxin, technically my apprentice, was supposed to join me at some point but if she was late I wouldn't mind. I was a very relaxed master with her. Part of me thought it was because to the affection I harbored for her, even if I kept her at arms length, but I was pretty sure it was a mixture of disappointment and depression. She didn't understand the depths of what it meant to have nothing and be surrounded but alone. She would learn that lesson the hard way, just like I did.

Darth Rapax was another matter. Really he was a Sith Spawn who could help me get access to Sith Worlds and make the One Sith feel secure that I wasn't breaking up the Triad of Evil without me having to come out and say it pitting the Union against the Galactic Alliance. He was already here. Good, he needed one thing explained to him while we were still waiting on Tmoxin or alone.

"Darth Rapax," I said greeting him kindly. "I trust your journey was well." By now the aura of fear had washed over him.

He looked over [member="Draco Vereen"] he was indeed a powerful and intimidating figure of the dark side and a mandalorian. A deadly combination in on its self he got up from his meditation and look to the ironclad before him." It was quite interesting to say the least...how was yours..." Simple conversation couldn't hurt.

"Simple. Nothing out of the ordinary." The glare of the setting sun reflected off my visor. I smiled from behind the mask. I could offer a number of warnings and threats, but when dealing with Sith it wasn't always the best policy to let them know where on the food chain that stood. That said, I did want him to understand a few things. "The artifact we are seeking is simple. There is a temple in the Valley of the Dark Lords where I can glean the next phase in our journey. Once we find it, we confront the guardian of that temple, and we take the information we need from it."

Old legends told that the last Sith Lord to be buried in the Valley was also the maker of the item that laid at the end of our quest. Legend said that the guardian of the tomb and the artifact were intertwined, and that the guardian was aware of the location of the artifact at all times. These were legends, but they offered a place to start that we currently lacked, so we might as well. Walking towards the place I could feel the Dark Side aura throughout the Valley. Really it was just the remains of the evil that these beings had caused, leaking out, permeating the Force. "One other thing, my apprentice may join us later. She then again may not. If she does, you are to protect her to the best of your abilities." I left off the 'or else'. By now he was used to the Sith way of thinking where failure was painful.
