Reforming Havoc Squad

Okay, folks. We're going to be reforming our special operations unit, Havoc Squad. Here's the deal. We're going away from the Rangers/Green Beret type style that SWTOR did with Havoc and more towards hardcore Spec Ops stuff. Think Navy SEALs or Massad type stuff (though a little less on the assassination type stuff. Kinda. Maybe. Moving on, nothing to see here). Long and short there are going to be FIVE positions open for the squad. As people die off/leave/retire/disappear or more positions are made, we'll reopen or add positions. So, here's how it's gonna go.

First, this thread will be open for one week. On August 2nd, the thread will be closed. Those who wish to opt in for need to sign up in here with a clear and definitive statement that they wish to volunteer.

On August 2nd, the thread will be locked and I'll mark down everyone who's volunteered. All volunteers will be tagged for a tryout/selection thread. The Commanding Officer of Havoc, [member="Doc"], will run you through your paces and test your character's IC abilities and your actual OOC abilities. You'll be tested for IC skills, ability to follow orders, combat training, and for the OOC abilities to keep up on a training thread and the like.

Also, there are no restrictions to who can or cannot be in Havoc, aside from being a full member of the Republic and completing the selection process. That said, Jedi who wish to try out for Havoc and are selected will fall completely under the Grand Army of the Republic's jurisdiction, rules, laws, and chain of command. You won't have to leave the Order, but you'll answer to the GAR as a priority. This maintains effective Chain of Command and prevents confusion in that chain.
