The Reformation has four major branches of its armed forces. The Army, Navy, Intelligence, and Security. Each serves its own specific role, and neither is more important than the other. The following is a brief description of each branch, along with the ranks associated with each.
Note: Enlisted personnel have usually completed academy training, where as non-enlisted personnel go through basic boot camp, but have not been to the academy.
The Reformation Army
The army is responsible for all major ground combat activities, at home or abroad, in which security forces do not possess the requisite manpower or armament. This includes the defense of Reformation worlds and necessary invasions of foreign powers. Army ranks are as follows:
Enlisted
The Navy is responsible for both naval combat in space and in atmosphere. In addition, they are responsible for the conveyance of the Army to and from one planet to the next. They are the first line of defense from invasion forces, and the first to enter combat in an invasion of a foreign world. Naval ranks are as follows:
Enlisted
Unlike the other offices within the armed forces, Reformation Intelligence does not have an enlisted or non-enlisted designation. All members of the Intelligence branch have gone to the academy specifically to become members of the intelligence branch. Their role is two-fold: searching for information to be used when dealing with potential enemies and allies, and removal of potential threats from outside of the Reformation. Their ranks are as follows:
In order to facility the peace and prosperity of all citizens within the Reformation, it is necessary to enforce the law evenly across all fields. The Security Corps, commonly called the RSC, is comprised of both sentient and droid forces. Most often, droids are pared with a sentient officer in order to provide fair and equal resolution to problems as well as the warmth and friendliness of a sentient being. The RSC is responsible for enforcing all laws, and rooting out corruption within all branches of the Reformation Armed Forces. Additionally, they are a single unit across all worlds. Their ranks are as follows, and again do not include enlisted of non-enlisted:
