Description:

The Red Raven Shot Caller armor is a all purpose combat phrik armor that's main purpose is to keep you alive and not filled with holes and or cut to pieces by the various laser swords and guns of the galaxy. It's core strength lies in it's mobility and protection against energy based weapons systems. It's composed of a armor mesh bottom layer that clings to the user and pressurized once the helmet is attached and filtration system is locked, phrick plates go over the armor mesh to cover vital areas. Being a criminal enterprise the armor system is made for more mobile operators and users who need to make a clean getaway. Users of the armor will find that it is comfortable, easier to move in, and provides a very good range of protection from most attacks. However this is where the armor system has it's flaws.

Sacrificing protection for speed, the armor is weak against solid projectiles and blades and the phrik playing covers roughly 75% of the body leaving points such as the elbows, biceps, triceps, knees, neck, hips and torso sides open with only a lightweight armor mesh for protection, but the phrik plate armor does cover the chest, abdome, back, thighs, shins, feet, forearm, shoulders, head, and groin for mobility. Most slug throwers above a nine millimeter will compromise the armor and even severely damage it and the user within it. This problem can be treated by adding an additional flak jacket above or bellow the armor, but this is adding additional weight to the armor system and is not recommended. EMPs are also damaging to the armor's Heads Up Display system, Ion grenades can disable the function leaving armor's command system without any functions besides it's filtration system due to it being a simple filter from a standard gas mask on both the left and right cheeks of the helmet, it can filter basic toxins such as tear gas, but deadlier agents such as nerve gas will erode the filter and biological weaponry can pass through the filter.

All and all the phrik armor is meant for the operator on the go, it provides great mobility and protection against energy based weapon systems in the galaxy and is a must have for any high ranking Red Raven member.

Notes:
  • We need to know what areas of the body are covered by plating(biceps, covered? What about thighs? What rate/size of coverage?)
  • Duraplast and Phrik plating are fine to mix, but we need to know (Similar to above) which plates are duraplast, and which are phrik
  • If this suit is pressurized, it (I hope) has an undersuit layer. What is that undersuit made out of?
  • Also, if the armor is weak to EMP, unless you specifically and only hardened the filtration system against EMP, then it would be too. If it has been exclusively hardened, we need details on that.
  • What does your filtration system filter, how, and where is it located?
Thank you.

[member="Patricia Susan Garter"] - You still didn't actually mention what areas of the body are covered by the phrik, and what rate of coverage. I can provide examples if the request is too vague, but on a 'super metal' like phrik I am going to be very picky that you be very specific on the coverage so writers know what they can and can't hit. You're stated bits are too vague for me.

[member="Patricia Susan Garter"] - Honestly? That kind of coverage is NOT going to allow for the mobility you want. That's heavy armor. That's constrictive. You want the type of mobility you want, look at Boba Fett level of coverage. Not Jango/Clone trooper, which is what you're at. Either decrease plate coverage or sacrifice mobility, please.

[member="Patricia Susan Garter"] - Still a bit heavy of coverage, but it's splitting hairs at this point.

Approved, pending secondary.

But be aware of the decisions on where you have placed your plating, and how it will limit mobility and such. I will be watching who wears this, and I will be very upset if you're not using it as it should be within it's limitations.
