  • Rapid Fire can take out multiple enemies with a high rate of fire.
  • Charged Shot can hurl a massive plasma bolt dealing massive damage
  • Red Menace also has a Vibroknife used for close encounters, with slash or a stab Nichos can kill, maim or simply distance himself from the opponent.
STRENGTHS
  • A powerful and versatile weapon capable of adapting to any situation.
  • Vibroknife is excellent for close quarters combat.
  • Reinforced Durasteel makes it resistant to blaster fire
WEAKNESSES
  • Regular mode has a slow rate of fire making shot placement very important.
  • Rapid fire has a very high recoil making aiming difficult as well as the fact that it overheats the blaster quickly.
  • Charged shot automatically overheats the blaster as soon as it fires and the cooldown is twice as long due to the weapon overclocking its performance.
DESCRIPTION

After being dishonorably discharged from UNICOM, Nichos wandered the galaxy for about a year using the last of his military pay to buy the latest version of the DL-44 Blaster Pistol. Once he signed on to become a Bounty Hunter, the first thing Nichos did was to start modifying his blaster to fit the needs of the moment. While Nichos liked Blaster Rifles and even favored them during the Mandalorian Wars, a blaster pistol was more practical and easy to draw when your enemies are Sith, Jedi or just people stronger than you. When constructing the blaster, Nichos wanted to have versatility while having the power of a blaster rifle. With the Vibroknife that he used during the Mandalorian Wars attached, Nichos can slash anyone who gets close while also have options. Of all of the firing mode, the charged shot was the most experimental, Nichos recalled the many times he nearly lost his hand due to the blaster almost blowing up. It can reduce a target to paste but it won't mean much when returning a bounty. Nichos only uses the charged shot incase he has no other choice.

You will need a production rating for balancing purposes

Production: The scale is Unique (Only One Character), Semi-Unique (A single small unit, squad, or squadron), Limited (Only one small group of characters. IE: A Single Minor Faction, Company, or Group within a faction.), Minor (Large groups of characters. (IE: A Single Major Faction, a few companies, or groups.), Mass-Produced. (Anyone.) Characters refer to NPCs & PCs.)

Please use one of the options above

  • Ammunition Capacity: Uses an overheat mechanism where if the weapon over heats, the blasters needs a few seconds to cooldown before resuming firing. How long the cooldown is depends on the firing mode.
  • Effective Range: Regular: Up to 75 meters, Rapid fire: 40 meters Charged: 90 meters (blast radius of 1 meters)
  • Rate of Fire: Regular: 175 RPM Rapid: 650 RPM
  • Stopping Power: Same as above

For balancing purposes these areas will require official ratings from the template.

  • Size: (Please choose a size between Extremely Large, Very Large, Large, Average, Small, Very Small, Extremely Small.)
  • Weight: (Please choose a weight between Extremely Heavy, Very Heavy, Heavy , Average, Light, Very Light, Extremely Light.)
  • Ammunition Type: (List the ammunition type: Power cell, gas canister, slugs, etc.)
  • Ammunition Capacity: (List the ammunition capacity. The more powerful and lighter the weapon, the lower the magazine capacity is likely to be. Please choose a size between Extremely Small, Very Small, Small, Average, Large, Very Large and Extremely Large. You may also include a number with the Rating)
  • Effective Range: (Effective range in relation to the weapon type. Remember that a carbine will have a longer range than a pistol, an assault rifle longer range than a carbine, and a sniper rifle longer than an assault rifle. Choose from None, Point Blank, Personal, Average, Long Range, Battlefield, and Extreme. Battlefield and Extreme will require justification in strengths and weaknesses.)
  • Rate of Fire: (How quickly the weapon fires. Choose from None, Very Low, Low, Average, High, Very High, and Extremely High. Very High and Extreme will require justification in the strengths and weaknesses.)
  • Stopping Power: (How powerful the weapon is, in relation to its class. Choose from None, Very Low, Low, Average, High, Very High, and Extreme. Very High and Extreme will require justification in strengths and weaknesses.)
  • Recoil: (How much recoil does the weapon have? Generally speaking, the lighter the weapon and the more stopping power it has, the more recoil it will have. Also, certain types of weapons will not have recoil. Choose from Extreme, Very High, High, Average, Low, Very Low, and None.)
