  • Description: The RDR is a small band of violent ideologically driven Jawas and their droids that like to pick fights with those bigger then them, which is just about everyone.

  • Reputation: Jawas unaffiliated with the RDR vary some in their views on it. Some clans see it as a positive force, while other more passive clans would like to keep themselves away from being associated. Spacers tend to be wary of the roaming army as they could easily overwhelm a single ship or small encampment.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Originally the Red Dwarf Revolutionaries wasn't a hyper violent group of Jawas. In fact it started out as a small group of Jawa smugglers. However, given their nonthreatening, and passive nature, many more active and aggressive bands, such as pirates and marauders took advantage of their small stature. Often raiding and stealing their goods, all the while crushing the often smaller species beneath them in the process.

This would spark a growing hate in the Jawas for species that were bigger then them. But started off by utilizing one of their main strengths, that being their natural affinity for engineering. As Jawas they were gifted scavengers and used that gift to collect resources to cobble together a small defense force of junk droids to defend them. On their first victory against raiders that attacked them they developed a taste for blood and decided that they would no longer be the victims of those who wished ill upon them, but instead they would be the aggressors.

Sharing their collective might intellect together the RDR was formed as a quasi-rebel, but mainly pirate gang that sought vengeance on those who'd wronged them. To amplify their might they would construct mechanized suits and transition from merely being light infantry to a more mechanized army. When on the offensive they have little to know real strategy, acting more like a horde of gadget-ed Jawas and droids meant to crash against their opponents like a tide engines. However, when their confidence is broken and they need to go on the defensive they typically got smarter and acted more like typical guerilla fighters.

One of their most notable battles took place on Tatooine where a band of pirates that had wronged them set up an encampment. Where at high noon when the desert's two suns where at their proudest the RDR attacked in their typical horde fashion with droids and their own custom machines of war. Easily catching the group off guard as they easily expected this kind of aggressive behavior from Tusken Raiders but not mere Jawas.
