[member="Lady Kay"]

It had certainly been a while since Ferus last saw her. He couldn't remember the planet, but the pair had enjoyed tea, and even had a bit of training. In return he had asked for the location of a wanted Jedi. Of course, he never did get that location, but as time went on he figured out he didn't care.

He had a different favor to ask the girl. Dressed in some casual mercenary clothes, something she could probably remember from their brief meeting after Mythos's speech, he would sit in a bar on Tatooine. She had access to something very important, and Ferus wanted to collect.

Kay certainly got the message. It had been quite a few months since she had seen [member="Darth Ferus"] last and that had been on Atrisia where he had perhaps saved her life as well as the life of a Jedi.

Once she had arrived on Tattooine, she entered the tavern, dressed as a local, including a scarf draped over her head, covering her face and leaving just her eyes and forehead visible. She spotted Ferus, looking every bit the part of a mercenary. Quietly she approached him by the bar and ordered a Sapir tea. "Care for any, sir?"

"Tea sounds rather nice actually. Care to join me then?" Sapir Tea. Ferus truthfully couldn't remember if it was the same tea they had when they first met. Ah well though, he could tell by her voice it was [member="Lady Kay"] . "I must say, that outfit looks wonderful on you."Casual casual. He figured there could be some use to keeping it somewhat casual. Though he also wasn't one to waste time.

"Did you know however, that the Republic has quite a large number of POWs? Probably because they dont kill their prisoners. The Sith could learn from that, no?"

Kay signalled for two cups to be made. She smirked under the scarf at his comment on her outfit. "Thanks. It's a popular style."

When the teas arrived, she paid for them and took hers, holding the cup in both of her hands. As he spoke of the POW's, she wondered why there were any, when last that she heard, all Sith were to be killed on sight. Maybe that had changed without her knowing. "Everyone could learn from that...."

[member="Darth Ferus"]

"Possibly." Ferus truthfully had no idea what the Republic did with their prisoners. He only assumed POWs were taken from how the Jedi were. Peaceful. Protective of life. Many would assume the Senate would follow such an ideal. But, alas, that was not the mans concern. The voice of the Sith went quiet, just enough for his companion to hear. "I have a favor to ask of you, [member="Lady Kay"] . Something that will put you in quite the predicament, but we both know such things were to be expected with our line of work. I need to get into the senate building and free the soldiers still held in prison. With you're help, what I plan to do will keep people from dying over this. So I will ask you. Are you willing to help?"

Kay sipped her tea slowly as she listened to his request. Oh yes, it would jeopardise everything. But that all depended on what his plan was and whether or not [member="Darth Ferus"] was telling the truth. She owed him, twice over now for saving her life. But what good is that if this costs her her life?

"What is it that you are planning? Prisoners are not kept in the Senate building or even in the Capitol at all. That would be foolish. If you plan on going to the Senate building to orchestrate our surrender, I can't be a part of that. I am not trusted as much now as it is. It has been discovered that some Sith have been helping me free slaves from the Cartel. And your rescue of myself and the Jedi on Atrisia is now being investigated. I understand that these are my issues to deal with and not yours, but I have to tread carefully at this time."

Kay didn't quite know what to expect him to say or do. But she stiffened up a little as she prepared herself for the worst.

"If we were to.. Hold the senate hostage, we could negotiate for a prisoner release. We don't need your direct involvement, just a name or two of senators with guards who would be easier to take down than others. Non lethally of course. If the Senate could be persuaded to release these prisoners that would be one less reason for war. The people of the One Sith would not scream for their family currently held in Republic jails. Your assistance will keep this from ending with death, and that's simply not something I can afford at the moment. Understand?" Still he spoke hushed, though he did begin to tense. Quite a lot was just explained to [member="Lady Kay"] . She could easily play him for a fool, give him false names and lead the Sith into a trap. It would be smart for her to do, to get her standing in the Senate in a more.. Positive light. But loyalty had it's perks too.

How loyal are you, my dear?

As much as she wanted to avert war, this was not quite the way to do it. It wasn't as though the Sith caught were innocent people that the Republic had abducted. Kay sipped her tea, keeping her eyes forward as she spoke. "There is a way for us to coexist just as we do with other governments. But this might not be the way to do it. Please give me a week to find a viable alternative to discuss and if I cannot find one, then I will at least help you negotiate a release of the prisoners."

She needed time to think and go through a bunch of different options.

[member="Darth Ferus"]

"Very well. That I can at least agree to." He would fall silent then, simply sipping at his tea now that it had cooled. It had a mellow taste. Or, at least, that's what Ferus remembered it having. Power comes at a price, and this one was his ability to taste. Red eyes closed as he sipped, simply feeling it's heat as it went down, trying to remember the taste it once had. Slowly though, he would set down the cup, nodding once to [member="Lady Kay"] . "How has your training gone so far? Keeping up with the practice I showed you?"

Kay breathed an inward sigh of relief at getting some time. Negotiations always took time and one needed to have more than one strategy.

She sipped her tea and nodded. "Yes, thank you. I practice it almost every chance that I can. I'm not sure if it can fool one such as yourself, but I think that it might work on someone far less powerful."
