  • Minimal crew necessity.
  • Decent hangar size and inclusion of the ROPP system
  • Excellent anti-starfighter capacity
Weaknesses:
  • Slow hyperdrive by comparison to most current warships
  • Extremely expensive as most of the components being fitted into it are costly
  • Loss of the bridge nearly completely cripples the ship as it doesn't have the crew capacity to otherwise run the vessel
  • Remote Operations Piloting Pods effectively need the space of two additional fighter squadrons for housing, which reduces space for non-essential personnel and storage.
  • Because of all the extra space that would normally be used for crew quarters being taken up by other systems, and the lack of necessity for too much crew due to the command throne system, therected is an increased response time to systems issues, which decreases damage control efficiency.
Description: Though the Reformation-class carries two squadrons of fighters within it, it is not specifically suited to the role of a carrier. In response, further design work became necessitated in order to craft a carrier that could work alongside the Dreadnought in battle. In order to facilitate the use of the ROPP system, said carrier also had to come equipped with a VT Command Throne to free up the necessary space. While utilizing the capacitive defense network was essential, the space necessary to also included the expanded defensive network of the overlapping shield platform would have put too much of a strain on the ship in terms of space and was subsequently left off in favor of conventional shield generators.

The ship carries 5 squadrons of Radial Drone Fighters, with 5 sets of ROPP's for the pilots to utilize as well, making the ship ultimately quite deadly in terms of starfighter engagements. In addition, the capital weaponry on the vessel was paired down quite a bit in order to make more room for OPDL's to be installed, which makes the ship more of a carrier/anti-starfighter vessel than a heavy engagement type of vessel, which suits its role just fine considering the Reformation-class should be taking the brunt of the enemy assault anyway. Regardless, she suffers from much of the same drawbacks as her big sister, but makes up for it with her role.
