Description:
Due to the fact that this weapon is meant to disable machinery, the ion weapon does not affect organic material. The weapon has an advanced firing rate; this is for situations in which one is trying to disable many droids or computers. Due to its size, it is quite useful in confined spaces and when a stock is added can be used at longer range combat. However, this weapon is not the most effective or efficient in long range battles. The ability for the scope to be changed depending on needs of the operation.
The weapons burn through ammo quickly, meaning that one must have a number of powercells within easy reach. Also it is suggested that one does not hold continued fire for multiple packs. The recommended rate of fire is one cell every 30 seconds at least, so that the weapon does not overheat.
