Description: Raptor-class Droid fighter was designed as a small and cheap alternative to a proper starfighter. The drone had no shields, and only light offer but had incredibly speed and agility. The vessel is designed to be either used en-masse or as dedicated support for small infantry squads. Because of it’s incredibly small size, squads of infiltrators could use the fighter as dedicated air support. The device was designed with a droid brain capable of autonomous action or could be ordered by a wrist mounted computer system. In this way officers on the ground could call in precise air strikes on targets using the vessels proton bombs to decimate enemies positions.
This fighter counts as 0.5 of a starfighter for purposes of carrier fighter counts.

I got nervous around 'incredibly small size', but 6m as a maximum dimension is pretty reasonable for something that's basically a Predator drone. Good tradeoffs leading to a specific role. Approved.
