Ranks of the Imperial Order

Here are the ranks of note within the Imperial Order.

Key:
Red - This means that these roles are restricted/limited in number, given to members who demonstrate high activity and ability to create engaging stories since these roles are rp heavy roles. The Faction Owner has final say on who can obtain these roles. Applications for these roles are allowed as long as there is room for new members.

Yellow - These roles are not limited in number but restricted to members of the faction who have shown a dedication to the faction, these roles can be given through agreement of Faction staff and members can request an application for the role if they believe they are ready. This is not based on popularity of a writer but activity and commitment basis to the faction.

Green - These roles are freely available to have as soon as you join the faction.

RANKS

Emperor(1/1) - Darth Wallgof, the leader of the IO, while he has a public face and is known to be a former Sith, he publicly declares to have left the Sith ways behind and that the IO is here to bring order and peace to those that seek what only an Imperial presence can bring. Tywyll Lew is the public name that he adopts, claiming to be from a small, dead Mandalorian clan.

The five members of the Imperial Council(2/5) - The leaders directly under the Emperor and the ones that organised the actual running of the faction IC. While Wallgof hosts a council of Sith followers, the Imperial Council is mostly made up of devoted Imperial leaders who are not necessarily Force Sensitive, this council makes the public and important IO decisions. Wallgof does have final say but he often trusts the actions of his Imperial Council to keep order and peace within his growing faction.

Grand Moffs - Titles harking back to the old Empire era, Wallgof grants these titles to those who are exceptional members of the Imperial Order. These members will be granted privileges to meet the Emperor, discuss plans for expansion and make special requests for places to operate or specific areas of the IO to be in charge of.

Grand Admirals - Titles bestowed to those deemed by the Imperial Council to be the very best of the Imperial Order and capable leaders on the front lines, expanding the influence of the Imperial Order. Grand Admirals are in charge of large forces, significantly larger forces than generals and admirals who often report to a Grand Admiral, they are also expected to be the ones leading the forces into combat and exploration outside of the IO’s territory. While most Grand Admirals are not on the front line facing the danger, they are expected to face the dire consequences for their failures. Grand Admirals have limited interactions with the Emperor, reporting mostly to the Imperial Council.

Imperial Order Security Bureau Commander (IOSB Commander)(0/1) - The leader of the IOSB who will be in charge of the Imperial agents, Inquisitors and spy operations, the role is crucial in the early years of the Imperial Order to ensure that the Galactic Alliance is unaware of the building darkness or deems the threat as minor, broken remnants instead of a collective force building as one strong fist. IOSB Commander reports directly to the Emperor, while also bringing reports to the Imperial Council.

The Shadow Council(0/6) - Operating from behind the scenes, the Shadow Council is the collection of Sith Lords most trusted by Darth Wallgof, he hosts discussions with them on the plans and directions of the Sith as the operation in the shadows of the Imperial Order. His Shadow Council consists of 6 members and while they have no influence on the Imperial Order publicly, they do function as leaders intent on destroying the Jedi from the shadows.

Grand Inquisitor(0/1) - The Grand Inquisitor is the leading Force Sensitive fighter in the Imperial Order, the public face of what Force Sensitives can do in service to the citizens of the faction and demonstrating that both Force Users and Non Force Users can be of service to the Imperial Order. The Grand Inquisitor does not view themselves as Sith in the public eye, they are skilled in the Dark Side of the Force and well trained in combat. They directly serve the Imperial Council, however, Grand Moffs can direct and command the Grand Inquisitor as long as the orders do not contradict the Council’s orders. The Grand Inquisitor also provides important information and ongoing issues to the Shadow Council, one of the few key figures that knows of the existence of the Sith operating in the shadows.

Inquisitors/Sith - The inquisitors are the public face of Force Sensitives, they adopt this mantle from the first Galactic Empire’s use, being Force Sensitives trained to hunt and deal with Jedi threats to the peace and stability of the IO. While publicly the Inquisitors disavow the Sith and the Sith Order, it is possible that most if not all of the Inquisitors are Sith, using the mantle to operate publicly and working in line with the Imperial Order before returning to the shadows to operate on their own missions and objectives. All Inquisitors report to the Grand Inquisitor for missions and objectives, never meeting with the Emperor unless there is a serious issue. Inquisitors' ranks fall in line with high ranking soldiers and officers, meaning they can be serving under Grand Admirals.

Generals/Admirals/etc. - Those that have shown a dedication to the Imperial Order, as well as developed skills that place them above the average Imperial are given titles such as General, Admiral, Lieutenant, Colonel, etc. These brave members of the Imperial Order are often placed in charge of small units, which grow in number the further they progress. They are often direct command of Grand Moffs and Grand Admirals, given assignments and often work on the front lines in war and expanding the influence of the Imperial Order. They are on the same level of skill and capability as the Inquisitors, working together at times in the pursuit of enemies to the Imperial Order.
