Ranger on Break (Open)

Walking into the docking bay, I took a quick look around and found a spot at the bar. I hadn't seen combat recently but it helped to be prepared, even here. Even in this place of security, so I wore my own security, my armor, scored and marked with battle of weeks past, but still strong, still in one piece. As I took my seat at the bar, I gave a good look around the pub.

Supposedly this was the rest and recreation area for the Silver Jedi, a group I had only met a single member of. I was looking forward to meeting and fighting alongside many more of them, maybe even helping a lot of them out, after all that was the whole reason I joined the Order in the first place. To help as many people as I could, kill as many Sith as I could, and keep as many folks alive as I could.

Kaitlyn had only been on Voss a short time, and here she was in the cantina. It wasn't because the Ranger was needing to drink away the pain of her mother's death, though a stiff one would help to an extent. Really the Antar 4 born was here just to relax for a spell and lounging inside her Jedi Temple room just didn't appeal to the young woman.

Dressed in her usual dark travel dress worn with high leather boots, the tall blue-eyed brunette wandered up to the bar and slipped onto a stool. "I'll have a Lum, please," she said to the bartender, then turned her attention to the man two stools down, flashing him a friendly smile as the glass was placed before her.

"Hi… I'm Kaitlyn. Your armor looks as if you've seen some pretty good action as of late. Hopefully the other side is worse for wear."

"Draco Vereen," I said introducing myself to the woman, "A pleasure. I would hope that I've made more of an impact than they have, but only time will tell." I said to her, sipping on a glass of whiskey. Another ranger was a pleasant sight, seeing as they had been scarce as of late, and it would be good to get accustomed to having more of them around. "I've only been with the rangers a short, while, splitting my time between the Galactic Republic and the Silver Jedi. How about yourself?" I asked the woman a few stools away.

The bar was a fun place and Willa slung her rifle across her back while she walked in. She wasn't usually one to come to voss unless they had to. The silver jedi were not to bad a place though while she came in and held her hand up. To get her drink while she sat down propping a foot up for a moment while running her hand over her short hair. The braids slightly weighted with beads while she looked at one of the patrons who was starring at her tattoo across her cheek.

I noticed the newcomer fairly quickly, she was hard to miss with her interesting facial tattoo. "Draco Vereen." I said sticking a thumb at myself. "I am just taking a break before heading back out, wasn't expecting even as many folks as there are. I'll have to head out, I am pulling double duty between the Republic and the Silver Jedi Order, so the past couple of weeks has been hectic. How about yourself?"

He was certainly forward and open. She raised an eyebrow though when he mentioned working between both and spoke. "Well that was a lot of information quickly." The smirk though tugged at her lips while she took another drink. "Willa, last remaining of Havok, Republic special operations sniper and ranger." She didn't need to much more, leaving the rifle on the table as she finished the glass and motioned for another one.

"I've only been with the rangers a short, while, splitting my time between the Galactic Republic and the Silver Jedi. How about yourself?" answered the big hunk of a Ranger.

"It's nice to meet you too, Draco… I've been doing some scouting for both factions actually myself. I tend to get in, do my job, and get out quickly so I miss major fun," KT replied, then brought a frosty glass of lum up for a sip.

Just then another soldier came into the bar. This time a woman. She sat down at a nearby table looking hard-core to the bone.

The young brunette tipped her glass in a friendly manner towards the other woman. "Hello… Kaitlyn, scout for the Rangers."

Lyna and Syna entered into the cantina... there was a great deal of things they liked to do and standing there in their civilian clothing The twins stood there with their sigils glowing around their necks before they were letting themselves speak. "We would" "Like a drink." "Of brandy." They were speaking in their usual tone and following each other and then together before they got their drinks and were sitting down. The pair staying next to each other as they looked at the others in the bar and recognized Willa from the special forces.

He was bone weary. Tired. Not the kind from lack of sleep or exhaustion but one born of constant missions. He was mando'ad so fighting ,war ,and death came with the lifestyle. Add to the fact that he had recently joined the silver Jedi order and he was ready for a nice quiet drink to relax, as much as he could at least.

Entering in his matte black, scarred armor he moved to the bar and dropped a few credits receiving a bottle of brandy and a tumbler glass. A grunt and he moved to a table near a group of patrons. Sitting with his back to the wall he placed the bottle and glass on the table top with his left while leaning his rifle against the wall with his right.

A cursory scan revealed no immediate threats. He sighed as he popped the seal on his helmet and set his buy'ce on the table. Shaggy black hair, dark blue eyes the color of an incoming storm, and stubble was his visage. Pouring several fingers of the brandy into the glass he tossed it back in a single gulp before pouring another.

There was a new person who came in and Willa was looking at him. The more the merrier as she took a drink and was looking at the twins who sat there with a smirk on her face. "Always fun to have more people. Barkeep more drinks all around" She kept her feet propped up on the table while leaning back just a little to let the vahla stretch.

They perked their heads up and spoke in unison while they were drinking. "Welcome." They didn't know who he was but that mattered little in a bar on a planet. They had the equipment and weapons they needed before busting out a small datapad with a map showing the temple and a few places they could go for later while visiting.

Raising his eyes he watched the waiter bring around drinks. One was set at his table as well. Setting his tumbler down he picked up the mug and sniffed it lightly. Then he raised it in a silent salute to Willa and took a drink.

Wasn't bad but he preferred his brandy. Figuring it was the polite thing to do to introduce himself he cleared his throat. " Vor'e, for the drink. Bjork Corsair, knight, new member. "

Figuring he met his requirements for speaking he riled his shoulders and tossed back another glass of brandy. He had his opinions on the Republic but chose to keep them to himself. Everything had flaws after all. Pouring another few fingers into his tumbler he leaned back, blue eyes watching his compatriots.

She looked at him and held a grin while she was there. "Isard." She saluted with her mug while she was waiting there. "The old one I guess." She shrugged at the thought trying to remember with some of the things they had. "We don't have many ranger's running around here sadly." She looked around at the spacious bar and well had some ideas to try and change that but getting Zathra to join them or one of the others. She knew there was the one project in the works. "So what has brought you here to us?"
