- Hunter Killer: Bristling with a deadly array of weapons, particularly ion emplacements, this Davaab-class was modified to seek out and cripple or disable targets. Also features upgrades to its sublight engines to allow it a better chance of closing in on smaller prey.
- Prepare to Be Boarded: Equipped with both boarding javelins and tractor beam harpoons, the javelins are filled with coma gas and designed to penetrate thick outer hulls to release their payload, while harpoons are fired at the subdued target and it is reeled in via tractor beam. - Vulnerable Amidships: While armored, the long spar between the ship's command center, which sat just before the ship's main engines, and its hangar is an incredible vulnerable spot. The Rancor Claw is a modified Davaab-class escort frigate and recent acquisition of Quell Rook for use as a base of operations and raiding vessel. Flagship of the young Mandalorian's piracy operations, the ship makes no efforts to physically disguise what it is, featuring a large blazing claw stenciled across its spar and covered in bloody bones. Yet because of its false telesponder it can pass under a variety of fake monikers as long as its mark isn't within visual range.
The Claw is crewed by a mixture of Clan Rook and Clan Munin warriors, a sign of the Munin cuir rekr's personal investment in Quell's endeavor. The interior is a disciplinary nightmare, featuring a central galley with a firepit roaring at all hours and heavy grog consumption at much the same rate. There have been several rumored close escapes from the Claw which were only made possible because the crew was too drunk to aim their grappling mags properly.
