STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Gifted with the force - Whilst human he was force sensitive but was did not have the strength that he has been granted by his change.
Of fire – Fire has been forever woven into his soul and he has no fear of it. This does not mean he is immune to its effects though, if his material body is destroyed by burning he will be forced into his immaterial spirit form, if this happens at a place of strong nether energy, he can hold his physical fire form.
A fresh start – His old enemies beleive him dead, taking the name of the Valkyrja made him an unknown, this makes him more dangerous.
Disturbed– He has lived through so much pain and suffering, including his own burning alive that he sometimes has a detached morality, he does not have the same fears or limitations as others because of it, but he has to tread very carefully on the line to prevent his fall to the dark side.
Limited shifting– So attached is Ramiel to his human form and his human persona that he has been able to push past the species natural limitations on shifting and can reform the body he used to be. He can for very short times maintain his fire spirit form in the material realm but this is usually under periods of extreme duress such as his near death.
Stubbornness – The Valkyrja spent years trying to tell him that the mortal wars were not his fight any longer, he ignored this. He has a stubborn temperament.

APPEARANCE:
Ramiel, in human form is a tall balded male, sometimes sporting a grey beard, this is how he died and how he will live now. He wears metal piercings as a throwback from his early days in a gang. He typically wears dark clothes and eschews armour.
BIOGRAPHY:
Ramiel was born Jeddus Alberat on Ession nearly fifty years ago as the child of gang member, his early life was tough, but he was looked after, the gang was up on its luck and a small child was a welcome break to the violence in the underhive so despite appearances, his childhood was a happy one. Things became harder when children's games became criminal activities, but to Jeddus, that was just his life and he did not care. It was only as a teen, when, due to his building force sensitivity, he was sent on a job to steal from the Jedi temple. The job failed, but jobs fail sometimes, the real outcome was that Jeddus learned what life could be outside of the gang. He spent the next years saving every single penny he earned and even taking on jobs that made his skin crawl, until eventually, he could afford to buy him and his mother a new life.
He approached the Jedi who took him on as an apprentice, unfortunately at this point he and his mother were forced to part ways, the Jedi concerned about his age and strong connection to his family. He made this sacrifice, as far as he is aware she lived on in peace until her death of natural causes.
He was with the Jedi when the Sith took the planet, the darkness swept across the planet and billions of people lost everything. Jedi and other light siders were slaughtered and hunted down like dogs. Those that survived fled the planet, except a few that swore to serve to protect those that couldn't leave for as long as the Sith hunters gave them. Jeddus was amongst these and he became an insurgent. This was his life now and turns out he was good at it.
As the years went by, one by one the remaining Jedi were slain or captured, including finally Jeddus. He was to be executed by public burning as an example to other potential insurgents.
On the day of his execution, as strange thing happened, creatures from the nether, curious about the world after the gates opened between the two realms were visiting and although they had no loyalities either way, the appalling brutality of his execution touched something inside them and a new Valkyrja was born, his immaterial spirit swirled around in the flames, recovering them, and as his body turned to Ash, the spirit was free. This was a new birth for the Jedi and he saw below him those that had punished him.
He was a newborn and he did not know how to proceed, his body was now lost to dust and the world was a strange place. He felt voices coming to him to implore him to join them in the Nether. He resisted, telling them he could not leave his post while he still had thought. Eventually they persuaded him of the futility of staying in her current form. They took him back to the nether, renamed him Ramiel Bál Fæddur, pryeborn and began to raise him as their own. He never forgot his oath to Ession or the bonds that his mortal body had made. The Valkyrja tried to convince him that he was no longer that person, and that he needed trouble himself with mortal wars. But he was stubborn and after 60 years in the Nether, he was powerful enough to make his own way to the material realm and return to his insurgency.
His new gifts made him dangerous and the new name made him unknown, he struck at the hearts of the Sith and made their life on Ession as difficult as he could. He was still doing thay when the ashlans came.
