PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

Raedon is a paradox of withdrawn empathy: someone who feels everything but tries to feel nothing. Once a serene and diplomatic Jedi Consular, the loss of his closest friend, Kyria Varanis, and the trauma of Coruscant turned him inward. He conceals pain behind sarcasm and wit, pretending not to care. Yet he often helps others in subtle ways—whether smuggling vital medicine or protecting a scared refugee. He no longer believes in grand ideals, but he hasn’t lost the urge to do good. He fears forming attachments again, afraid that loss will destroy him for good.

HISTORY

Raedon Alveron was once a Jedi Consular, trained to mediate and protect through peace and understanding. On Coruscant, he grew close to another Jedi, Kyria Varanis—a bond that was never formalized in the Lovalla sense but ran deep nonetheless. When the Sith attacked, she was killed, and Raedon was gravely wounded, losing both legs in the assault.

Left behind in the ruins of theattack something in him broke. He left the Order. Took Kyria’s damaged lightsaber and vanished into the Outer Rim.

Now known as Ashlight, Raedon works alone aboard The Hollow Victory. He smuggles. He trades. He listens to the galaxy's wounds. He doesn’t believe in Jedi anymore—but when it matters, he still tries to protect the light in others, even if he doesn’t believe there’s any left in himself.
