Description: The R90 Starfire was designed as a fast and agile interceptor for the republic. The craft is tiny compared to most craft and nimble able to dodge incoming fire. Developed a main line interceptor the craft was produced in factories throughout the republic by Republic Engineering Corporation being mass produced in quantities much larger than companies which produced other republic interceptors. The craft has a light shield generator, and is armed with both laser cannons and blasters. The blasters are meant for strafing runs on soft targets and squads of infantry, or to pepper lightly armored and non shielded craft such as many droid fighters. Because of it’s speed and maneuverability the R90 quickly has become a popular choice amongst fighter aces.
