PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

Having undergone reprogramming by a crime lord eager for yes-men minions and developing quirks from decades without a memory wipe, R6-X13 behaves more like a loyal gangster than an upbeat astromech. That trademark can-do attitude persists, though it’s just as likely to manifest as taking a circular saw to an enemy’s finger or rushing to put out a fire aboard her boss’s freighter.

She was recently outfitted with a vocoder and is very eager to share her colorful language with whatever poor sap is in earshot. A talking astromech’s a novelty for a reason.

STRENGTHS

All-in-One Package:
R6-X13 comes with a complete set of arms, sensors and tools you’d expect of the model, as well as some more eccentric additions. ( e.g. a welding torch turned cigarette lighter, a drink dispensing arm, an arm just for swinging her trusty vibroknife, a speech synthesizer)

Plug and Play:
The R-Series line of astromech droids was famous for its modularity and R6-X13 was no exception. Any of her components can be easily swapped out in case of damaged parts needing replacement or potential upgrades.

Dime a Dozen:
As one of the innumerable droids working in the background across the galaxy, Roxie can easily blend in and remain inconspicuous should the need arise.

WEAKNESSES

Voided Warranty:
Between extensive reprogramming and a host of novelty tools haphazardly crammed into her, X13 is unable to perform engineering or navigational tasks one’d expect of an astromech as efficiently as a factory new model.

Handle with Care:
Though built to endure hazardous environments, her durasteel casing can withstand at most a blaster shot or two before being disabled, let alone sustained fire or lightsaber attacks. This will not stop her from attempting to bring an arc welder to a Sith Lord’s shins.

Cumbersome:
R6-X13 moves with the beauty and grace of a trashcan on wheels. Without the use of her (fuel-limited) rocket boosters, dastardly obstacles such as The Stairs become nearly insurmountable without some slow, deliberate maneuvering.

HISTORY

Beginning as a humble automated mechanic aboard a no-name trade vessel, R6-X13 would end up in the clutches of an aspiring “criminal mastermind” after he had picked her former master’s ship clean. There she served for some time, receiving various programming tweaks and additions to entertain and aid the ambitious crew. That was decades ago; She could only remember that old master as “The Boss” now, but she could certainly still remember what the Hutt he had tried to pull a fast one on had done to him. After parting with her old gang, she’s wound up on different ships across the galaxy, working under Bosses with progressively shorter lifespans until eventually winding up with Sana Kinree .
