Around one meter tall, R5-M7 is colored yellow and black, though black seems to be the primary color. Though based on the scheme of the Galactic Empire, R5 lacks the specialization seen on other Imperial droids of the era.
BIOGRAPHY:
Astromechs are the single most prevalent and important droid in galactic history. Not only are they capable of a multitude of tasks, they make good companions in challenging environments.
A group of shrew businessmen, recognizing the nostalgia connected to the droids, decided to make a 'Nostalgia' line. Several of the older R-series droids were remade, a paradox of modern computing systems but a cheaper hull. Countless designs were made or remade, from the blue of the legendary R2-D2, to the far more infamous black of the Galactic Empire.
R5-M7 is one such droid, designed with the Empire in mind. One of thousands, it stands in storage, awaiting a potentialsucker buyer.

Strengths:
- Astromech: As an Astromech, R5-M7 is capable of countless specialized roles. Be it a support on a fighter, or the overseer of a computer system, R5 has many uses.
- Fusion Cutter: Armed with a fusion cutter, R5-M7 is both able to lightly defend itself and preform repairs to defenses and vehicles of all sorts.
- Modernized Processor: Unlike the R-series astromechs of old, R5-M7 has advanced processors capable of running and figuring out any level of problems.
- Personality: Though not a strength within itself, R5-M7's line (unlike the original) were programmed with the idea of them have personalities to make them more enticing to potential buyers. Alongside this, each R5-remake series are easy to be altered for ease of use.
- Rockets: Like other specialized models of the original R-series, the company designing R5-M7 and its ilk decided refitting each unit with inbuilt rockets, allowing it to be far more manueverable.
- Unable to Protect Self: Though it has a Fusion Cutter, R5-M7 is otherwise unable to fight.
- Easy to Disable: R5-M7, due to its relatively cheap design, is easily disabled by EMP or electronic-based weapons.
- Astromech: The fact that R5 is an astromech is a double-edged sword. It abilities make it unable for specialized tasks or jobs humans are capable of.
