BIOGRAPHY:
R4N-JR began his life on an assembly line in the Roche Asteroids. He was designed to be a simple accountant and protocol droid. He was purchased by a local merchants guild on Nar Shadda where his programming was further enhanced by his owners. While working at he guild the kindly accounts manager refused to wipe his memory allowing him to develop a personality of a simple middle class accountant. As he watched the various disreputable clientele come and go he started to desire a different life. Something very odd for a robot.
His entire existence changed during a daylight robbery on his place of business. One of his coworkers was shot and he attacked the assailants, snapping one of their necks. In his effort to defend his coworkers however he was shot in the head. Upon reactivation everything changes. His programing began to conflict and he had two strong desires, obtain wealth, and punish evil men. He found his two new directives were often at odds with another, but soon found an outlet. Bounty Hunting. In order to achieve his goal he had his bodied modified and enhanced, in one instance forcing a mechanic to install new components at gun point.
For six years Ranger roamed the galaxy as a bounty hunter. Currently he lives a slightly simpler life as a mere spacer.
