Description: The Hellcat was an idea born of Kurayami's desire to constantly improve upon old ideas. This time the idea was to replace the X-5 with a heavier hitting multi-role fighter. Most systems were borrowed from the A-wing series of fighters as they are systems he is highly familiar with these include the sensor systems, navigation system, jammer, and targeting systems. The avionics systems were custom built to provide a more instinctive control system built to push the craft to its limits. As the replacement for the X-5 this craft was built to outperform it in every area but defense. The Phantom 4-x jammer has been customized to cover a wider range of frequencies, costing the system range allowing it to cover only half of the normal range of a standard 4x jamming suite. Though the craft does incorporate low powered deflector shields they will not withstand anything above a few hits from a light starfighter grade laser cannon. As many other recent designs there is no transparent canopy, instead feeding sensor data to a panoramic display, if sensors are knocked offline or otherwise disabled the pilot will be flying blind.

Could you be a bit specific about the "mission specific equipment"? Is this only other weapons? Or other devices, and if so, what types or kinds of devices?

These seem to me to be more of limitations of strengths rather actual weaknesses inherent to the design. If you could remove both of these please.

This remains a bit too vague for my comfort level, as it could potentially serve as a loophole to use any number of extremely powerful weapons. However, I don't want to cramp your ability to be flexible either, given that this is a unique starfighter.

If you'll put something like "extra cannons, warhead launchers, or other weapon equivalent to <<insert weapon here>>".

So an example of this could read as something like "extra cannons, warhead launchers or other weapon equivalent to 2 laser cannons".
