STANDARD FEATURES
  • Rigged up navigation, communication and stabilizing controls heavily modified by the Qunesh using a variety of equipment from crashed ships on their world; many ranging from various eras.
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Highly modified and volatile New Republic era hyperdrive.
  • Highly modified and volatile Imperial era shield generators (Two per Spire)
  • Highly modified and volatile New Republic era ion engines.
  • Highly modified and compounded thrusters from Imperial era craft - One set to be discarded upon launch off their homeworld and one to get them through space to and from their destination.
  • Large and small emplacements of heavy and light carbon nanotubing for prevention of ion or electrical interference.
STRENGTHS
  • High Velocity: Once launched from the surface of their home world the Spireships are sent hurdling through space towards their destination with very minimal thrusters to slow their approach or descent; though enough to make landing and taking off enough of an ease that there is minimal risk for a lethal crash.
  • Built to Last: Built from a random assortment of metals from across the ages, the Spireships are built from the very same structures that the Qunesh make their homes out of. They are highly durable as they are plated numerous times over with the aforementioned metals.
  • Spear Point: Unlike their design for aesthetic manner on their home planet, the Qunesh utilize the spire like design of their ships as a means of granting them the ability to pierce the ground of the planet they're aiming for to make it possible for them to burrow into the ground and hide themselves from enemies.
WEAKNESSES
  • Weaponless: The Spireships have no weapons to speak of whatsoever because the Qunesh spared no materials to make any emplacements. They do not see the need for them.
  • Upgraded but Volatile: While the equipment is dated, and in most cases decrepit, the Qunesh have modified, and modified again, the equipment used for their craft. That said they are also extremely volatile and even the slightest miscalculation could land them in either a deadly explosion, farther off course or in a completely unexpected landing area.
  • While the Spireships possess remarkable speed they lack significantly in the ability to turn or adjust their position. Once they have started moving they are generally set on going that direction with commitment.
DESCRIPTION
After nearly five hundred years isolated from the rest of the galaxy, and under the leadership of The Prophet, The Maker and The Destroyer, the Qunesh have finally seized their chance at making their way off world once again. While their ships are primitive in nature, they are intent on using their own technology to launch their ships off world and towards other worlds from which they hope to collect material to further advance and evolve themselves. They may not possess an extensive knowledge or ability for space flight, but their ancestors, and the crashed ships they found, left them with just enough to manage an attempt at space travel.
