---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

STRENGTHS

AMPHIBIOUS: Quill can breathe both water AND air! This should be handy, right?

FORCE-SENSITIVE: Quill has a connection with the Force! She has seen it thus far as just a connection with her aquatic home, and used its gifts to protect herself and her village in some small way. It has mostly manifested in moments of opportunistic luck. A trident throw hits its mark from a long range away. A difficult shot with a harpoon manages to find a weak point in a critical fight. A predator is sensed moments before it attacks. She has had no formal training as a Force User.

SCALES: Quill's scales provide better protection than human skin would. It is not impregnable, but Quill can take a bashing easier than a human can.

STRONG JAWS: Quill's jaws are very strong. Just as a real-world Pirahna can bite through steel hooks and other metal items, Quill's jaws can also hash through certain metals without losing teeth.

WEAKNESSES

DEHYDRATION: Qwohogs are an amphibious species. Despite their ability to breathe air, Quill needs at least 3-4 hours of submersion or she will weaken. If Quill remains outside of water for 48 hours, she will dehydrate and remain immobile until she either A. Dies or B. Is submerged.

DIET: Quill is entirely carnivorous. She cannot subsist on plant life, and must have meat at all meals. It does not matter if her dish is raw or cooked. If she ingests plant life, she will throw it up. All of it. Fish vomit, everywhere.

GILLS: Quill is an unfortunate species that wears half her lungs on the outside. A punch to the gills can be extremely painful, and will debilitate her for several minutes.

APPEARANCE:

Quill is a buxom Qwohog. She is entirely covered in scales, as most fish are wont to be. She is primarily a handsome cobalt blue, with a thick black dorsal stripe. This stripe covers half her face in a sort of mask, sweeps up over her cranium and drops down her back. Both hands and feet are also black, which ends at her elbows and knees. Quill's gills are located under her armpits. Quill often makes a point of wearing something with moderate sleeves or a bulky crop-vest that can protect these sensitive things. Her palms, ears, ribs, and webbing on her toes are also bright yellow. Markings are prone to change with age (as soon as I make up another reference sheet).

Quill has sharp, triangular teeth. They closely resemble Piranha teeth; each tooth has a wide root that sets deep in her jaw. She looks mostly innocuous until she flashes these pearly beauties. To help keep slippery prey in her mouth, Quill also has a pharyngeal jaw that launches forward, grasping her food and hauling it down her esophagus. Hopefully a character will -never- see this set of jaws. If you do, you're too close to the inside of Quill's mouth.

Qwohogs prefer loose clothing, usually made of seaweed and shells, or their own scales. Quill wears a loose, tunic-ish top, and skin-tight pants, without shoes.

BIOGRAPHY:

Qwohogs are a peaceful, aquatic race from the planet Hirsi. Often seen as slaves or colorful pets when not on their home world, they enjoy flitting in their underwater home in fishy bliss.

Or they would, if Hirsi hadn't been destroyed soon after the Galactic Civil War.

Quill is a member of a nearly extinct race whose last remaining members were those that barely managed to escape the destruction of their planet. Fleeing to several aquatic planets, The Qwohog species has been slowly adapting from a soft-spoken, sweet freshwater species to a vicious, defensive race that can live in both fresh and salt water. Quill is from a small hidden village on Naboo.

Quill was born to her mother and father in their secret sanctum. She grew up fighting off the predators of Naboo, and is proficient with some rudimentary underwater weaponry such as a trident, harpoon and nets. She was also prone to spending several hours on land, careful to hide herself from any Gungans that may be in the area. Quill had a 'pet' Fambaa, that she would surface to ride around on, and enjoy the sights that the air-world had to offer.

Her interest in the surface world lead to her capture by a gang of slavers, who had caught wind of rare, flashy fish-folk floating around the galaxy, and wanted to make a quick buck. She currently resides in a dirty tank on a freighter ship, awaiting her new owner.

Quill is only minorly aware of her force-sensitivity. She only knows she had the easiest time hunting and fending off predators in her underwater domain than others in her school (GET IT?).

SHIP:

NOOOPE.

KILLS:

She probably ate a slaver or two when they were too stupid to get close to her tank.

BOUNTIES COLLECTED:

NADA

Aww, I saw your fish avatar and thought that your character was Dory. >.>

For the record, your avatar's supposed to be a represenation of your character. :p
Ignore that, I somehow missed the part of how you were drawing your character picture. <.<

Looks like a fun character though!

XD Don't worry about it. I'm basing her scales off a Blue Tang fish, so I thought it was an appropriate place holder until I finished her drawing.
