Questions on Company Creation

So, Justice Shipping Ltd is a business. And I kinda was dragging my feet on getting the official "hey we are a company" thing up and running. So, I have a few questions I couldn't find the answers to. I want to make sure I do this right so thanks for your patience:

1) Since we do not make anything and are just a shipping and "security" (mercenary) business, do I need to make one of these?

2) Since we have like--four--contracts, but make nothing, what would we be considered business-wise?

3) thank you very much.

4) Have a free cookie!

Setting it up never hurts.

Factory IS optional, but people may complain if you start to write it too big for not having a submission.

Really, its all up to you! I used to write a non-production company for a while, and I had subbed it, just to keep track of the work i had done.

Maybe thats an answer.

If you want the company to be board canon then make the sub. The fun thing about economics is providing a service is as marketable as a product. With a character i no longer write I subbed his night club as a company. Just an example.

Consider yourself a service organization or a "shipping company" as the title suggests. Build the application to look legit, but there is still the shady side of the work.

If you need help PM me and I'll put my MBA to good use :)

Contracts are contracts: Contract to ship. Contract to smuggle. Contract to provide a service where you get paid.

Even if you don't make anything, you are still providing a service. That service could very well be man power.

So instead of "tech subs" for your requirement, just toss in more misc threads that deals with you expanding said service company, making contracts, doing missions as the company etc.

And you are golden.

If you want to "Tier up" and gain more benefits and such as you grow -- more like an ooc goal really if you want -- you can sub your company. If you don't ever want to bother with it, then don't. The factory is optional.

Take Arceneau Trade company -- it started out as a shipping freighter service of goods. Then it expanded and continued to make contracts, expand it's products, and then eventually made products in shipping, armstech, armormech, cybertech, biochem, etc...

Just do what makes you happy :)
