Aya Clarke
Lady Clarke, Saint of the Crimson Eagle
Thirty one years ago, Queen Nia began a dream, a dream of uniting Aelozath, defending its people from the rule of warlord, honor-less kingdoms. Sixteen years ago, she finally brought peace to that dream, the dream of Kalis. It is she we celebrate, every 131st day of our year, to honor her work, the work of those who swore fealty to her, and the day that peace was no longer a distant dream, beyond reach. This day, the first day of the warm season, is known as Queen's Day, and though the independent kingdoms may not all recognize it, this day holds meaning to us all.
In her absence, her children have guided us, the Eldest alone taking the crown through the wisdom of the youngest. Many have passed on, to the Goddess's embrace, and others have grown comfortable away from the crown, no longer desiring the throne. The eldest now seeks an heir, a child, whom he may give his crown unto, without necessitating another test of fealty to decide the leader.
Queen's day is fast approaching.
The final days of the second Monarch are upon us all.
