Description: After the Sienar biotech expert Hylocereus' reintroduction of kolazhi, and in connection with Silk Holdings' kolto resources and Consolidated's bacta resources, the extremely rare kolcta began to be produced again, as detailed in Consolidated's company submission.
Kolcta, however, remains extremely expensive. To maximize consumer base, Consolidated produces kolcta in geltab form, for sale in twenty-tab boxes or as single units. This maximizes the low-income nature of some of the environments in which Consolidated's presence is strong, such as the Unknown Regions and the Mara Corridor.
Kolcta being what it is, several geltabs -- if properly applied -- can reattach limbs if applied directly to the wound. Ingestion can prolong life to a greater or lesser degree; as this is a major portion of kolcta's appeal, the geltabs are edible. However, kolcta's miraculous healing abilities would not become innate with daily ingestion. Furthermore, too-frequent use of kolcta decreases the level of resistance which the immune system faces. As a result, though expensive daily use of kolcta will stave off infection and speed the healing of minor injuries, the body becomes highly vulnerable to infection once the patient stops taking kolcta, and some have experienced increased healing rates after quitting kolcta.
