Intent: A versatile extreme conditions exploration and extended operations suit.
Development Thread: No
Manufacturer: Silk Holdings/Eshan Drive Yards
Model: QQ-15L-3 Extreme Conditions Armor Suit
Affiliation: Levantine Sanctum
Modularity: No
Production: Minor
Material: Spun-plast (boots, bracers, undervest), synthmesh (throughout), flexicris (adjustable faceplate), agrinium (electronics shielding), photoreactive fiber (color change)
Description: The Levantine Sanctum has no unified governing body. However, patrol forces do exist, backed by the free worlds of the Sanctum. Those forces have access to certain proprietary weapons, starships, and technology. The QQ-15L-3 extreme conditions armor suit is one such element, designed to protect the patrollers and exploration teams of Levantine free space.

Though not the most impressive combat armor in the 'verse, and as heavy as basic Mandalorian armor, this flexible, durable suit offers diverse benefits. Its construction maximizes defense against environmental hazards, especially radiation throughout the electromagnetic spectrum. Its limited photoreactive layer does not permit advanced stealth operation, active camouflage, or anything of the sort; instead, it allows the wearer to choose and hard-set a selection from one of five basic digital camouflage patterns (desert, winter, urban, forest, shipboard). The photoreactive layer is engineered in such a way that depowering the suit will leave the camouflage set to the last pattern chosen, rather than reverting to a potentially hazardous default. Likewise, the hard-set means that extended operation will not drain the associated battery; what drains the battery is shifts in camouflage pattern. The pattern can change only five times before the camouflage battery is depleted. The HUD can interface with standard Levantine high-end scanning equipment.

The suit provides exactly zero resistance to lightsabres and has a limited vacuum rating (30 minutes to incapacitation through freezing) if the faceplate is fully lowered and sealed. The inside of the faceplate has been known to frost over in extreme cold, if lowered and sealed. Additionally, the suit's only integrated sensor mode is night vision. For all other sensor functions, it must rely on its connection to a pouch-carried Scanpack.

The Echani Mark II Combat Shield module was obtained through Silk Holdings' acquisition of Eshan Drive Yards and its weapons subsidiaries. Silk commonly sells the Echani Shield separately.

This is good, and I mean it. I really love how it's not active camo, just preset camo, it seems better for this armor that actual active camo. But I would like to know how long the camo can last before draining the battery. Other than that I don't really see anything else (I'll still look though :p)

[member="Adenn Gra'tua"] - Good catch. I've added these lines:

Does that work for you?
