[Public] Death is merely a step away

Char-Li was running, which wasn't that much of a problem if it weren't for the wound on the lower left side of his abdomen. He was panting harshly as he gripped his DC-15s blaster on his way down a rather steep ravine on Teth. Why was he on Teth? Call it a vacation of sorts. He needed a way to avoid a few bounty hunters on his trail, but unfortunately they did get to him. He was wounded, hurt, and beyond tired at this point.

Sure, he had the best training, best supplies and gear, but that didn't stop the human aspect of him, exhaustion, dehydration, all the rest of it. He came to a rather rough halt, his legs giving out as he fell and slid down a hill rather spedily, coming down to a ravine and stopping at the very bottom.

Was he dead? No, not yet, but he wasn't really ready to move just yet. He was tired. He was hurt. And all else, just plain hungry.

The sights of the rifle were looking at the ravines wall. They had managed to set some targets up for her but the twins weren't always the nicest when it came to what was in between her and the shots. A smirk on her face though while she ran a finger along the anti material rifle and her senses flared out as she squeezed the trigger getting a crack as the slug came out and she moved her head. She could feel something off in the distance and moved reloading quickly while she withdrew from the ankle sheath a small pair of electrobinoculors looking to see what was there.

Char-Li wasn't entirely awake, but he was focused enough to know where he was. He was alone, at least he felt he was. There wasn't anything he could do but just relax and hope to god that no one sees him. It was almost unlikely from the color of his armor and little bits of vegetation around him. Heal, that's what he can do, he carefully reached for his actual bio-gel to help heal his body.

"Curse these mercs."

There were more sounds coming as Willa moved. Her rifle searching now as she saw something coming towards her. Someone appeared in her head for that brief moment, the sense of the force telling her as she fired a shot and mercs coming over near the one screamed. She was searching for who she felt while reloading and grabbing at the armatech underbarrel launcher that she could use with the sniper. Clicking into place while the grenade launcher was set. Now the bad part.... not having coms with soemone running and being able to tell if they were in trouble or running from justice.

Char-Li felt blaster bolts hit and smack around him, which would be fine if it weren't for the fact that they were aiming at him and were dangerously close to hitting his body. He took up his DC-15s blaster and began to fire off a few rounds, which weren't as accurate as he would've liked them to be. The blue bolts contrasted against the reds of the mercs, who were obviously not of good standing.

"Blast off!" He yelled, still firing rather hazily.

Willa could see more now, shots being fired as she looked one and adjusted the scope firing a shot and twitching with it as the slug jerked slowly to the side smashing into his kneecap then up into another groin. The reload coming to her while she fired the grenade launcher and was workign to make a clear path for him to get away and towards her. "Come on... get the message."

Char-Li saw two men fall down, which was great for him. The men began to run away, which so great. He sighed softly when the shooting began to lessen up, but Char-Li didn't know where any of the fire came from, but it's fine. He sighed softly, relaxing again into his ravine spot, letting the surrounding area take him in. Exhaustion kicked in as he slowly began to relax, a black void seeming to surround the Mando'a bounty hunter.

Willa was looking at the man as the others were retreating, focusing her attentions while grabbing at her smg and sliding the line launcher under the barrel while she fired it. Get his attention with a non lethal rope meant to immobilize but in this case was to show him which direct she was in... Check as she squeezed the trigger and the gunk became solid leaving flying over but only giving an idea of where she was.

Char-Li was out cold, not even feeling anything as the rope sort of wrapped around him. He couldn't help but really do nothing, relax as his limp body was sort of moved by the gunk.

Willa looked through the scope and didn't know what to do now... if he was out she would be literally be dragging him to her and carrying an armored guy up a cliff which would lead right to her position but if she left him there... there wasn't a whole lot she could do but watch and see if he did anything.... Though there could be the third option of dragging the unconscious man and drawing on him. She would have to wait and see.

Char-Li was being lazy, but that didn't stop him from drawing his sidearm subconsciously and holding it near and dear to his body. He wondered, was this someone who wanted his bounty dead or alive? Only time will tell, he muster up the strength to adjust his helmet before giving off a loud, "You gonna come or what?"

Willa looked through the scope at him and waved a little while she refused to shout. Speaking under her breath while she was wodnering what was happening and "is he serious? Get up and get over here. Follow the line." She could say it all she wanted but just stayed watching for more of those men to come back.
