This was proposed by a member and crowd sourced a bit.

Consumable Template

Image Credit: (Please link to where you found the image, or to the original artist if possible. TinEye or Google Image Search can help.)

Intent: [Describe the plan for the consumable. Submissions created for frivolous purposes or whose concept goes against the basic concepts of the setting will be denied. ]

Development Thread: (The main way people work for their toys, though most submissions don't require a development thread. Restricted items require specific development threads. Substantial development threads can help judges approve more powerful submissions. If in doubt, put 'If necessary,' and a judge may or may not ask you for one. Threads cited here must be at least 10 quality posts and must be cited as the full thread title, no abbreviations.)

Manufacturer: [If manufactured, who developed this or currently sells/distributes the consumable? If this is a naturally occurring substance, list the discoverer/distributor.]

Name: [Common name, street name, etc]

Type of Consumable: [Drug, Stimulant, Beverage, Food, Etc.]

Legal Status: [Will this consumable be something sold legally or will it focus more on blackmarket venues?]

Affiliation: (Example: The E-11 Blaster Rifle was produced for the Galactic Empire and used almost exclusively by Imperial Stormtroopers. Do not put the company unless the product is only for your company's use. Common choices include 'Open market' or the name of a specific faction.)

Modularity: (Can components of this submission be swapped out for other components? Is it especially easy to modify? For most submissions, put 'No'.)

Homeworld (optional): [Use if the consumable is naturally occurring]

Ingredients: [Can be specific as the type of plant to as vague as water. Please avoid use of real world items where possible. Restricted Materials development still apply. ]

Production: (The scale is Unique (Only One Character), Semi-Unique (Only A Handful of Characters), Limited (Only A Select Group Of NPCs/PCs), Minor (Any Character, Only Select Groups Of NPCs), Mass-Produced. (Anyone.))

Strengths: [2 Minimum]

Weaknesses: [2 Minimum]

Method of Consumption: [Orally, Injection, Inhalation, etc. Include in this component whether it can be consumed numerous times, consumed once, or somewhere in between.]

Average Life: [If this item has affects on the user, how long do these affects last? 2 hours, 2 days, indefinitely? Please note that length of decomposition within the body may impact need for development.]

Nutritional Value/Allergies/Side Effects/ Purpose: [Does this consumable have any nutritional value? Are there any known allergies or potential for side effects]

Description: (Describe some of the history behind the submission, when was it discovered, originally developed, created in a lab, etc. Give us some idea of how it might perform its function, what it excels against and what some limitations of it are. Flesh it out over at least a good-sized paragraph, and address some of the ways it might be used or abused. For especially powerful or ambitious submissions, a very thorough description is recommended.)

Primary Source: (Please link the source of another writer's submission that you are modifying for your use; only necessary for "Chaos Canon" submissions)

If the consumable is naturally occurring (i.e; plants, animals) it does not belong in the factory. I don't see a point for having an implication that such should be submitted using this template.

Home world only reinforces that implication.

The factory does not determine legal status, so again, not something that should be there.

Waiting to see if anyone else thought that something was missing or may be required? A fresh pair of eyes when we think of consumable materials would be good.
