Progress is Dragging along

Viktor decided that he needed to up his experimentations and to do that he needed to up the ante on what he was experimenting on, then he checked the records as well as old stories he heard of the dragons of Arkania. Viktor had seen one once, as a child. It was a hulking, but majestic beast and Viktor knew it was the first thing he wanted. He went threw various crackpot sites on the Holonet and eventually found one that seemed legitimate, so he decided to check it out. It stated that the remaining dragons lived in the diamond caves of Arkania, so Viktor knew what he had to do. As he got up, his cape swept behind him and he went to go fetch a group of killers.

Viktor had assembled a strong team of droids that he truly believed could eliminate this dragon, now all he needed was to find and capture it. He brought along with him a miniature tractor beam and those beam-stun tank things to try and disable the dragon to make it easier to capture, but even with all of these Viktor was unsure about his success in the capture. He could not go back now though, all these expenses for a miniature army had made the genius as rich as a nerf herder, there was no going back now.

Viktor had decided that the two best ways to try to find the dragon was via seismic readings for a rough estimate and an echo mapping of Arkania's cave systems to try and find it's nest, so he began the readings of Arkania's most remote locations near the northern part of the world, where natural life was mostly nonexistant. He began the seismic reading and found that the cave continued for miles, so he and his army would have to go in their to chase the dragon out of the cave complex because they wouldn't be able to fit the massive capturing machinery through a cave covered in crystals.

Viktor and his robotic battalion marched their way across the archipelago towards the diamond caves of Arkania, towards the chambers that connected the majority of the chasms and caves. The weather took it's toll on the droids, with a few of them freezing and locking up. In total about 1/4 of his fighting force had been decimated by the climate alone, but the tanks and more importantly the tractor beam made it safely across the frozen tundra. Eventually the caves were in site and Viktor sat his force outside of the entrance to it.
