So maybe he'd saved Popo's life, but that was a side note.

Regardless, he made his way to The Wheel and made it known through certain mutual acquaintances that Captain J.Q. Merrill, hyperspace explorer and generally presumed dead at Second Teta, would appreciate an audience with the head of Tenloss.
