While observing people around the temple as she liked to do during her free time, Jyoti had picked up on Jarael, in particular. The Padawan seemed to favor Form VII, particularly Vaapad. While more a widespread practice among Jedi today, it was still such an oddity because of the aggressive mindset it required, and a careful balance managing more savage impulses while using the form. It wasn't just a combat form, but a whole philosophy.
Jyoti worried about Jarael using it. There was much conflict in the woman's heart, and at times in battle, she could come off as quite bloodthirsty. Always seeming to look for a fight. There was a legitimate chance she could finally go over the edge.
The Jedi Master wouldn't let that happen if she could help it, so she had scheduled some personal time to meet with the Arkanian and maybe finally start working out that venom. Of course, she felt like doing it the Echani way. Jarael seemed more receptive to action over words anyway.
She arranged for them to meet late afternoon by the lake, one of the Echani's favorite spots in the campus. She had gotten there first, meditating upon daily events in a lotus position on a boulder. She wore her trademark white robes, but a sheathed foil was tucked between her arms resting against her shoulder.
