HISTORY
Born on Paradisum under the new power of her parents, who were put into place as a puppet state under Diarchy order, Daniela was the firstborn daughter of House Virelle,, known for their obsession with culture, aesthetics, and ancestral perfection. Raised inside the gilded walls of Varenum with a silver goblet in one hand and a blade in the other, Daniela was taught that beauty is power, elegance is a weapon, and perception is law.
As she matured, Daniela became the social nucleus of the Paradisum court, spinning alliances like silk and scandals like coin. Trained in alchemical traditions preserved by her house, she turned scent and sensation into tools of persuasion. Her public image became very important.
Princess Daniela has recently been sent off-world by her parents as part of a strategic expansion of House Virelle's influence. The official reason: to "serve the Diarchy through cultural ambassadorship and interplanetary governance training." The unofficial reality: her parents see the growing power of the Diarchy's central figures—especially the Diarchs themselves—and wish for Daniela to be seen, respected, and indispensable within that inner circle.
Though Daniela plays along (brilliantly, of course), she secretly resents being separated from her friends and the more civilized lifestyle of Paradisum. This separation is a subtle source of longing for her and something that humanizes her beneath the pomp and perfume.
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS:
Daniela is unapologetically aristocratic. She believes in order, hierarchy, and the power of curated excellence. Her voice often drips with theatrical sighs, backhanded compliments, or flirtatious menace. She adores hosting galas, solving conflicts through wit, and correcting others with carefully rehearsed barbs.
Deep down she is rude and pompous because she wants to be seen like her parents. She does not want to be an outcast and in some cases - ala Mean Girls style - she joins in to put down others or denounce non royals as a way to uplift herself. She misses her two best friends - Bela Caelistra & Cassandra Veyra - Bela being her stylist but still from a noble house and Cassandra being a daughter of a Minister. She misses home, hates having to be the face of their house and wants to live for herself but has no idea how to do so.
