Backstory
Navarre was born into the royal family of Centerra, the son of the Prince Consort and second husband of Princess Victoria. Though not of her bloodline, he grew up within the palace as one of her own, surrounded by ceremony, structure, and the quiet scrutiny that comes with being visible but not central to succession.
His childhood was largely safe and cherished, but one moment cut through that safety. During his first attempts at flight his wings faltered and he fell from a great height. He survived, yet the helplessness of that fall carved deep grooves into his memory. Since then, sky and height have always carried a shadow of unease, even as his heritage calls him back to them.
Reaching adulthood, Navarre found himself restless beneath the weight of polished marble halls and carefully arranged expectations. Encouraged by his father Matthew, he chose to step beyond the palace and seek a life where his worth would be measured by courage and character rather than lineage alone. His immediate goal is simple and personal: reclaim his confidence in the air. His deeper goal is to become a knight whose deeds honor both his fathers and the Princess who raised him.
